The Law of Association

Have you noticed, in your holiday shopping, that you and your friends like the same stores?  There’s a reason for that: the Law of Association.  The Law of Association says that we tend to like products, services, or ideas that are endorsed by people we like or respect.

If your friends like eating out and watching TV, you probably do too.  If your friends are fitness buffs, career climbers, or social activists, you’re probably the same way!  But what happens if you want to be a head-turning stud (or babe!) while your friends are couch potatoes?  Simple: find new friends to associate with, and let their good habits rub off on you.  When you do, maybe YOUR newfound ambition will influence the couch-potato friends who associate with you!  Because when you stand up, take a step, and repeat, it’s good to have friends along the way.
