Minute #128 | Muscle Work Zone

Would you believe it if I said that most folks who are visit a health club on a regular basis are wasting their time?  There’s an easy fix. 

So you finally got yourself to workout 3 or 4 days a week like the guru’s recommend.  If you’re going to put the time in should you get the most out of it?

Over the year’s I’ve found lots of cheaters at the gym – and when you cheat, you don’t get results and eventually you won’t exercise anymore.  So what’s the fix? 

Make sure you stay in the zone – the muscle zone.  In every exercise, you’ll find a point within the movement where the muscle works the hardest.  You’ll know it because it also burns the most.  Either side of that zone is less effective. 

So next time you lift weights, be a heat seeking missile and focus on the where the muscle is really working and don’t be to rush things.  Full, smooth, slow, concentrated movement gets results… and that’s what you want.
