It’s a Great Weekend
Saturday, March 18, 2006

I hope you’re taking some time this weekend to play and recharge.

This is the first weekend in months that I have nothing scheduled.  The past couple of months have been crazy for Sheryl and me so we’re taking advantage of the lull in the action and just kicking around town this weekend and enjoying ourselves.

Many times you’ll hear me say, “Life Gets In The Way” and boy has that been true for me.  Am I a lucky guy or what?

They way I see it, I’ve got thousands of supporters here at MTM and we’re growing everyday.  My business is busy with great clients and more projects just keep coming in the door.  Plus - I passed my FAA written test for my Private Pilot license this week.  Looks like I’ll have that license before the end of March.

The funny thing about being busy with no time to think anything is that eventually, all the craziness will come to an end.  Poof!  It’s like everybody went out of town and forgot about you - for a day or so.  The truth is, their life just got in the way and they don’t have time for you.  I say, “take advantage of it”.

So, this wweekend I’m kicking around the house.  I cleaned the garage and polished the chrome on the Harley.  We spent the morning enjoying a pancake breakfast with my new friends at the airport.  Afterwords we just stood on the edge of the runway and watched all the action.  I’ve answered a few emails and jumped on the Community a couple of times to keep up with Carrie, Laura in Alaska and Julie, our moderators, and the almost 500 others who are now members.  MTM Land is a great place with a wonderful spirit.  Thanks for that.

Well, the rest of the weekend holds a motorcycle ride, a movie, an art show, dinner with friends and probably a little yard work.  And you’ll probably find me around here a little too while I relax.  Wait a second.  Didn’t I just say I was taking a weekend off?

Funny thing about doing what you love - it’s never work.

Enjoy your weekend.
