Minute #14 | Stop - Think - Order

When I was a kid growing up – I can remember going out to eat with my parents because it was a special occasion.  Well, it’s not that way anymore.

As a kid, going out to eat was a special occasion that took place on weekends.  And if I was really lucky, Mom and Dad would get busy and be forced to buy me fast food during the week.  Well these days, things have changed.

Most families spend over 60% of their time around a restaurant dining table instead of their own.  And with family sized portions on every plate – that’s a problem.  But here’s an idea.

The next time you go out, remember these 3 words.  “Stop.  Think.  Order”.  If you want the advanced version, “Stop.  Think.  Think again.  Order”.

Remember, it’s the restaurant’s job to sell food… to you.  And I can guarantee you that when it came to figuring out how to persuade you to buy more food, the restaurant stopped and thought about it.

So take control over what goes in your mouth.  Stop. Think.  Think Again. Order.

Hey, it’s all about moving – do some now… so you can do more later.
