Minute #260 | An Object in Motion Tends to…

If you’re really looking to make a change in your life for the better – and losing a few pounds would be a great place to start – it’s time for Mr. Newton.

We’ve all heard of Newton’s Law of Motion. “An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion - It seems objects “tend to keep on doing what they’re doing.” It’s kind of like not exercising – you’re likely to keep not exercising unless you apply a little force to get you moving.

But here’s the cool part.  According to Newton – force is not required to keep moving.  That’s why it’s so easy to keep moving once you get started – it’s a natural state.

All you have to do is control external forces that add friction to your nice smooth motion and try to stop you.  In other words, once you get moving you’ll keep moving unless life gets in the way… so plan for it.  Keep an eye out for things that can throw you off track – after all, you’ve got… the law on your side.

Now you know why I always say… it’s all about moving… do some now so you can do more later.
