When it comes to exercise and diet, some guru’s say that it’s all balance. Well, in my opinion, balance is boring and it’s a big reason that many us of are big. Some say keeping balance in diet and exercise is the key to success. Well I don’t think that’s exactly that way. I mean, if you’ve ever seen kids on a see-saw at a playground, you understand what I mean. When the see-saw is balanced, the fun is over. As humans, we only “think” we want balance, but as soon as we get it, we’re bored. When it comes to our health, that means we go off our diet or stop exercising. The trick is to accept that it’s human nature to want variety in life, so try changing your exercises often and be creative with your diet before you get bored and stop entirely. Understand this very human trait and you’ll never have to worry about being bored with your diet and exercise again, and you’ll succeed. If you haven’t already noticed, life is a series of ups and down and that’s what’s makes it fun.
