I cannot live with a yogatoday podcast! They are so great at relaxing me, although at times I even wonder “why” I am attempting this.
Some that have already been posted, MTM (of course), Remarkable diet etc..Weightloss and the mind...Mind and Body also.
I love the healthy cooking podcasts as you can pick up all kinds of good quick tricks also.

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Yay, podcast people talking about podcasts, what could be more cool and nerdy. So, I’ll throw my two cents in so that someone else can discover some other great shows.

Morning Coach - I love this guy.
My Thought Coach - Great affirmations
NPR - Wait Wait Dont Tell Me - Hilarious
PRI - Michael Feldman’s What Da’You Know - Very Funny
This American Life

thanks for the other ideas

I remembered there was a thread about other podcasts. I think there was more than one as I don’t remember reading this one before.  What else are you listening to besides Motivation to Move and its family of premium podcasts?

Me:

Filmspotting—great film discussion with two knowledgeable guys and a lot of listener input. My first real podcast. I listen usually while at my desk at work.

NPR’s Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me—if I don’t catch it on the radio I catch up by podcast. Great current-events comedy quiz.
BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz (when in season)—similar to Wait, Wait, if you’re American; if you’re British, you’d enjoy Wait, Wait, I think.
BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show (when in season)—not a quiz show, but sketches, monologues, rants, and songs on current events with a UK focus but a world view. I’d never know who the leader of the LibDems is if not for Radio 4.

Logical Weight Loss—the guy’s much more of an Everyman on a voyage of discovery, with info and personal struggles, than Scott who fits the C.M.O. job to a T. Enjoyable.

This American Life - anthology of stories, journalism, and interviews. One of the best things on any air anywhere.

I also listen to streaming radio online while at work, a lot of BBC comedy and drama, from I’m Sorry, I Haven’t a Clue on Radio 4 to This Sceptred Isle on BBC7. I’m an Anglophile who’s never yet crossed the Atlantic.

In Our Time is another podcasted audio show from BBC Radio 4. Good in-depth discussion on a single issue. I was turned onto it recently as they had a discussion of King Lear.

The public radio station in Santa Monica, KCRW, near where a friend used to live, has some great podcast-available shows also, like To the Point, Left Right and Center, and others. I cut down on my political podcasts, as I was listening to a lot of news and opinion all the time and the effect was I was well-informed but very discouraged. I care, but I’ve learned to let some of the burden of the world off my shoulders while I work on—well, shoulders among other things. smile

I’m interested in hearing what others listen to. I have waxed and waned on some others.
