Wednesday night I met with a fitness consultant at the gym.  (Cheaper than a personal trainer.) She showed me how to use all the equipment and helped me design a program for myself.  I was all pumped and ready to get started today… except now I’m sick.  My throat is all scratchy despite the obscene amounts of water I’ve been drinking, and my energy levels are really low.  I’ve decided to take Scott’s advice and not try to burn through sickness, but damn it’s frustrating!  I was *so* ready and pumped to start today!

Ah well.  Once this cold is over and done with, I’ll be a regular.  One more week won’t kill me in the meantime.

Say it loud - say it proud - Life Gets In The Way!

Sorry to hear you’ve got the sniffles.  Are you and Carrie hanging out together these days?

Good idea to get help from the fitness consultant too - it’s very empowering to learn how to do things yourself.

And a good idea to stay home and get well - I hate snot all over the machines at the gym.

And GREAT idea to accept you’re sick and PLAN for when you will get back on track.

You ROCK!

Sniffle Sniffle.

Hey Scott,

Thanks for the encouraging pat on the back.  I’m not in such bad shape now, but I don’t want it to get any worse, so I’m taking things easy today.  With a little luck, I’ll be back on track in a few days.

Thanks again,
Julie

*ah-choo!* sick

I got me one big bad cold and just *now* recuperating. I should be up and at ‘em in a day or two.

Let us know how your new program works out for you Julie!
