Thanks Jenn I will!  I had a wonderful walk this evening, what an absolutely beautiful summer evening!!  I followed Scott’s law and went for what was suppose to a short brisk walk..well the walk lasted well over an hour, I was plenty warm when I got home as well as thirsty.

Me too Me too...just wish I wasn’t going to be on holiday for the last 2 weeks or so of it.  So I will do the best I can at stay moving 4 times a week..lots of walks..will drag the family with me !  Getting the programs for week 3 is going to be difficult and I haven’t figured out how to resolve that one.  I have a long slow burn of 60 minutes planned on the treadmill as today is Day 5 for me, as I took yesterday off spent it doing my brothers books...thank goodness that job is over!

I guess you could listen to week 2 over and then start back up on week 3 when you get back. You could either do it for 5 weeks, or double up on week 4 with weeks 3 & 4 daily shows. I’m planning on doing this process again in August when my kids go back to school and I restart my gym routine. The cool thing is that this is completely flexible and can be molded to fit our lives.

Just a note the holiday is grand, the eating has been under control, so that is all I am aiming for.  I get a walk in when I can, but for now I just aim not to gain and have a plan for when I return home.

Well try this again, I have tried posting several times but for some reason, it is timing out.  Holiday was great, but had way too many of Tim Horton’s ice caps.  The day after returning home I started the SMSM program and 3 days later joined ww.  I will stick with ww until I have my remade my eating habits.  I know I need to become aware of what, when and how much I am eating.  So the accountability factor with ww should help succeed with that.  My sil has lost 35 lbs since Jan and does she look good!  I have typed this post 4 times so hopefully tonight it will process!!

It Did!!

That has been happening to me a lot too, but in my case I know it is my computer.  I keep the windows task manager (control-alt-delete) up at all times now. It shows me how much CPU my computer is using, usually 100% when it times out.  My spyware progam is usually doing its thing and using up all the CPU.  I go back to the “Post” reply screen and try to stop/pause the Spyware long enough to post the reply.

Just got to love the quirks of the internet!!.  I am really lacking energy this morning, and it going to be a push push push till I get to the treadmill.  For some reason this morning, the coffee tastes sooooooooo good..and it is I will hit the treadmill after just one more cup...now is that an excuse or what!!

That is a great excuse! I’m also having a love affair with coffee. Anything that makes me that happy and awake is a wonderful thing.

WW weigh in on Sat and was down 1.4 lbs.  So that is progress as slow as it is.  I keep repeating to myself that I have taken 10 to 15 years to get here, so it is going to take a little time to get from here to where I want to be.  Lack of motivation again this morning but I know it is due to the fact that I did not sleep well last night, due to a long nap on the couch last night which I knew better.  I was awake at 4 a.m. to take hubby to the airport and was unable to get back to sleep.  I needed a power nap about 4 p.m. but it just wasn’t going to happen so by 8 p.m. I was toast and fell asleep on the couch.  So read until 2 this morning, and slept in but it sure messed up my daily routine.  Today I will get back on track and get where I want to go.

1.4 pound down is excellent.  Is this a weekly weight in?  If so picture where you will be if you keep it up for 6 months, or a year.  That is some serious weight loss.  Tough disruption in the schedule, but then that’s life.  Hope to see you back on the exercise wagon tomorrow.

Thanks Paula!  Yes it was a weekly weigh in, I recently jointed ww as I know it will help me with thinking about what I am eating as well as making me accountable.  I am back on the exercise wagon as I did another 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday.  And I will do another 60 today.  More rain and more rain in the forecast, makes one want to curl up with a good book and forget all about moving!  I will work out this afternoon as I have an early morning appointment as I won’t have time to get it in before I leave.  So that is the plan for today!
