Tuesday:

I had the best of intentions today....I really did!!!!!  The sun was shining, I was in a great mood, planned on doing another run today....never got around to it.  I committed to way too many chores and time got the best of me.  Did get some outdoor time with the little toddler today, and will make sure to have a hard workout tomorrow.  I so can’t wait until it is consistanty warm and sunny here, hubby and I are putting in an organic garden for the summer so excited to work in that, and got the little one a bunch of fun outdoor toys.  Will be nice to burn some extra calories off outdoors.

I’ve been away now for awhile.  My nephew was born in March and is doing really well.  I visit him several times a week to get my baby fix.  Just about everyone in the family has had some kind of surgery and been trying to help out with their needs.  Been catching up with old friends, making new ones, and really excited to be healthy this spring/summer.  I may spread my wings a bit and try something new this summer....something that I thought I would never do.....I think it is time to shake things up a bit.

Missed you all on here....will try to get better about checking in.

I did a good workout today, ran 5 miles (my ankle is a bit sore) and then onto crossover fly, arnold presses, smith maching, and a bit of free weights.  I am still thinking about what direction I want to go this summer with the whole trying something new...I am interested in so many things so who knows.  Any ideas??????

Hope everyone is good today, I am still waiting to see a peek of sunshine......hopefully tomorrow heh?!

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

To tri is to risk failure, not to tri is to guarantee it!

Let’s see: You can tri the following -
Run a local 5k or travel to far away places for a road race.
Travel to a new state and smell the roses
Sign up to be a personal trainer.
Take Scuba Diving Lessons
Take a local cooking class to expand your talents.
Start writing a Romance Novel.
Become an Urban Farmer.
Take skydiving lessons.
Grab a beret and head to your local Poet’s coffeeshop reading.
Head to Put-In Bay for a weekend, sans the little one.

Hmmmmm I’ll see if any more come to mind.

I like the new avatar, Julie! Have you maintained your weight loss from WW? Are you still on the WW plan, or have you gone commando?

I reached my WW goal awhile ago and now am a few pounds under that.  I have been good and haven’t gained any weight since I stopped going to meetings.  I don’t go to meetings anymore but now know about how much food I should be eating to continue weightloss versus maintaining.  I am really greatful for WW and its lessons, support, and smart way to approach food.  It was a very realistic plan for me since I simply refuse to avoid pizza for the rest of my life!!!!!
