Thanks for lighting a fire under me and talking me into not keeping the fat clothes around. However, I haven’t had a chance to take them to Goodwill yet. I’ll do so this weekend. (Can you tell that I am a procrastinator?? )
I happen to know for a fact that the Goodwill in the Chicago area does pick ups. Just call them and they’ll come. Yes, I used to live up there too. There, no excuse.
Wow… maybe I should just throw my fat clothes in a pile in the backyard and have a bonfire!!
(Actually, now that I think about it… I think I need to talk to the ole’ wife and have her throw her fat clothes in a bag also. She has actually lost 30 or so pounds.)
I’ll give her a call right now… “MAY DAY, MAY DAY, PUT YOUR FAT CLOTHES IN A BAG AND PLACE IT OUT TO THE CURB… STAT!!”
Salvation Army boxes, eh? I should look into that.
I was just kidding about the bonfire, Shawn… I was just saying that in light of everyone else’s sense of urgency to get rid of the fat clothes. Plus, I could use the tax deduction!
Tim,
Don’t say that to loud, the IRS could be monitouring this board...quick put on your tin foil hat!
I put the smiley on the end so you wouldn’t think I was completly nuts.
Knock, knock, knock...."IRS here. We’ve been monitoring this forum and must insist that the pre-loved fat clothes leave your homes immediately. You have no further use for them. Out they go”
OK I’m not really IRS....although I have worked as a tax investigator in Australia.
