It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember. What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Go Tom!!! You are such an inspiration to me. You embody the fun and energy and all the positives a healthy lifestyle can be. I want that, and you help me want it more. Thank you.

Holy cow, Tom… you sure do take big bites… out of LIFE! This is an amazing self-challenge. Running, biking, swimming… what, no FLYING? You slouch.
Best wishes,
Ann
Will remember to root you on from afar on the big day.

How exciting! Are you close enough to the race to drive to in race morning or is it a travel event for you? My coach says that that IM is all about nutrition, that it is 10% mental, 10% physical, and 80% nutrition, so keep fueling throughout. I know you are going to have a great day.
