I’m so excited that you guys are up for the challenge! It’ll be fun to share this experience with all of you!
So, here’s way I did this last time with the “50 days of exercise”.
- each day starting from the first day was counted as a day. So, basically the 50 days were consecutive. This was
to avoid putting off doing workouts. (It would have taken me a year to do those 50 days if they weren’t
consecutive!)
- each consecutive day’s post was titled with the day that I was on. I highly recommend that you guys do this too,
because as time goes on, it feels so good to see that you’ve already completed this many days. It’s very
motivating and exciting!
- I made a plan before the 50 days started with a few different options of workouts that I could do that I each day.
I was flexible in my choice, so that I couldn’t use the excuse “ I don’t want to do that today” or the excuse that
“My muscles hurt from doing that”.
- In the plan I built in rest days. Rest days are really important and the 50 days would not have been possible
without them. My goal was to take two rest days a week. A few weeks I took three. I wouldn’t allow myself more
than that unless I was really sick (which didn’t happen). The days that I took rest days were flexible too.
Sometimes working out on a certain day just does not work! On rest days I sometimes wrote my thoughts of how
things were going…
- Doing the 50 days wasn’t about seeing if I could do it. It was about Doing it. Even if I couldn’t do a full workout, it
was important just to do it. Attitude is everything..
I’m not sure how each of you will approach this challenge. I’m sure you’ll all figure out the “rules” that you want to follow for this- figure out how to be sucessful in reaching the 100 day goal! I’m excited guys!
