Hey,

I am a guy from the Netherlands who is trying to get to his goal of leaner body woith some muscle build up.

I’m now 33 years old, and last year i desided it was time to get me moving. I always wanted to, but never took some serious action to do so.

I was always the chubby guy, and even in the army where you get worked out pretty well, I never lost the babyfat i guess. I also never had any muscle you could see because it was under a layer of fat.

Since last year I lost about 40 pounds, went from 36% fat to 17% fat at this moment, and I can see muscles! I never knew I had them! They were always there, they were just hiding! It is not your buffed up muscle, just your usual normal avarage muscle, but for me it is looks like I am turning in to the Hulk LOL!

I realy like to take this a step further, and join a fitness club and really work those muscles and get bigger. Thing is, I am still a little bit intimidated to go. I still feel like the chubby one joining the gym…

O well, it’s nothing I can’t handle, just need some time and convidence i guess…

Woah, Patrick!  That is *so* inspirational!  40 pounds and 29% body fat in a year?  Congrats to you, man!  I wouldn’t worry about feeling like the “chubby guy” at the gym—go in and show them what you’re made of!  I bet you’ll have the women oogling over those buff muscles in no time!

Welcome to MTM-land!  I’m sure you’ll fit right in.

Cheers,
Julie
