Thanx to i-tunes the MTM-World is bigger than US and Kanada.

I´m a 39 years old guy from Germany. I´m working in advertising as a copywriter. The last
8 years I was quite consistend in jooging and some workout. So my problem is quite small.
Nevertheless: I´m 188 cm tall and I´ve got 170 pounds. I would like to loose like about 10 12 pounds, thats it.

I´ve seen that you guys all have lost a lot more. Seems to me that loosing 10 pounds is more
difficult than 50;-)

That´s why I was interested in MTM: I´m searching a new kick. Anybody a suggestion for my
case?

Thank you and keep on moving!

PD: Sorry for my english…

Hallo Deinzelmann,

Du willst also auf 70-72 Kilos runter?

Welcome to MTM -

Hey - if David Hasslehoff could do it why not MTM?

Your post is cool - and the first posted to MTM Land in another another language.

Reading between the lines - I kind of understand… sort of…

Hey - maybe somebody in MTM Land translate for the rest of us less international folks?

I just realized that in order for everyone else to be able to read what I posted that it might be better for me to post in English. wink

Deinzelmann is not the only one listening to MTM in Germany. I am a 38 year old guy from Germany and since the beginning of this year I am trying to get back in shape. I have first tried to lose weight on my own but I realized that I struggle to keep my motivation up over a longer period. Therefore I have decided to join a WW group end of May. Most of the time I have been the only guy in the group, but I got used to that. However just recently another guy showed up so now we are to men among many women. Anyway, my pounds (or as we here say kilos) are finally melting away. I started WW with 226 pounds and I am currently down to 204 pounds. I am trying to take small steps. My first goal was 209 pounds (95kg) and my next is to pass the 198 pounds (90kg) boundary. I am dreaming of slimming down to 174 pounds but that is still quite a long way and I rather focus on smaller steps.

I normally listen to MTM on my Ipod when I go running. I found out that I really enjoy running an listing to motivational podcasts like MTM as well as other podcasts.

Hey Scott,
that was probably the fastest reply I ever received to a post in a forum. wink Thanks for your podcast it is really great being able to listen to it. I like it a lot and it helps me a lot to stay on track.

I will try to post English only in the future.

Best wishes across the big pond…

Wooooooow!!!!

I wrote this first mail like half a year ago and I forgot it. Now I see that Scott itself wrote my.
And it feels like chatting with Tom Cruise, let say Hollywood.

Well guys, my problem is still the same. I feel a little from the wagon as you say Scott. But
it was not so horrible. I didn´t gain, but I didn´t loose either.
I am still 1,88 m high with the weight of 170 pounds.  Must be the beer!!!

studiert. Also, ich bin ein Lehrer;-)

Well guys, it´s so great to enter this place and find you reacting to my mail. I will go on.
10 pounds to go. I promise you: I will make it!

Hugs for all of you

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Hi and welcome back again.

I have a challenge to add to Tom’s - Join the 100 days of exercise forum.  You can post in English or Deutsch.  I can read Deutsch (but can’t speak or write worth a darn) so you we’ll hold you accountable in any language.

Thank you guy for the warm welcome. And sorry for me horrible english. Reading what I wrote yesterday makes me want to…

Thank you for the idea of the 100 days-stuff. Got to read that. And Tom you are write - I´ve got a eating issue not a moving issue. Because I´m doing like 3 times sport a week and don´t lose. So must be the food, after all the beer. For this I´m now having a “green month”, is to say no alcohol for 4 weeks. I´m on day 8 and lost 2 pounds just like this. Looks like one way to paradis.

So guys, let me tell you: Thanks. And I´m still opend for new ideas for my 10 pound problem.
