I use firefox as my browser and for the past week I have had continued difficulties getting to MTM. The first time I thought Scott was getting the new site up and it was just taking longer than expected. But when I finally got back on, no one mentioned anything about being down for a week. Then I noticed that people had posted while I couldn’t get on. hmm… So I opened up Internet Explorer and could get to the site just fine. Anyone else having this problem? And Scott, is the new site going to be firefox compatible? Thanks

Hmmm?  Strange.

I use FireFox as my main browswer and everything has been fine.  Anyway…

I have noticed a few Firefox upgrades coming to me so maybe something is changing.  Who knows?

I also find that clearing the cashe makes a big difference when things get funky.

That having been said, the new site is CSS and XHTML complient and has been tested on all browers.  Trust me - it will be a big step up… and a colorful on too!

Hang in there.  Now that spending more time on MTM I’m going to get a handle on some of the growing pains.

Well, to show you how odd it is - I was on firefox when I posted this. After reading your response I cleared the cache and closed out of firefox and when I opened it up I couldn’t get here again! Weird, here’s the error message if that will help:

You my friend have solved the mystery!

As part of our new site, I upgraded our database and community software… which include an “offline” message”. Guess who seems to have left it there?

It’s gone now so give it a shot and see if things work.

Talk about motivation!  If you’re trying to lose weight just remember EVERYTHING in life is one step at a time… including websites.  So… I’m right there with you!

I’m having problems getting to the site again this morning with firefox, same error…

Hmmm.  Sorry for the delay.  I took Sheryl for her first official ride in the airplane this morning.  We flew about 100 miles to Gainesville, FL and enjoyed a nice lumch visit with my daughter.  It was great - a 7 hour day reduced to 3.5.

Now, back to your problem.

I’ve made some changes behind the scenes that may help you.  Or… you may still be cashed somehow. 

Let me know if you still have a problem.  Everybody else do the same.  We’ll figure this out ASAP.

I don’t know Scott, I cleared my cache, closed firefox, and reopened it, but I still get that error message. It seems to be just me as no one else is complaining, so I’ll just use IE for MTM. I hate to waste your time for something that’s probably on my end.

Anyway, glad you’re enjoying your new license! It must give you a sense of freedom, to go where and when you want. Nice
