whoops I didn’t get my log in for the 29th. I couldn’t do any exercise again, i barely made it into town to do some grocerey shopping. Getting into my vehicle was good but getting out was a challenge. This morning i am going to take a couple advil and get on the treadmill slooooowwwwwly and put the incline way down almost flat. I hate missing my workouts maybe i will try my BANDS too and just work the upper body. I so want to go to my TOPS club on Tuesday with a loss.
Hope everyone else is feeling chipper and on track.
I did my exercises on treadmill , went well, tomorrow I will weigh in an see if i gained or not because i didn’t get to workout for 4 day because of a injury..But I am positively back on track today. Yahoo
Thanks I did the treadmill again this morning I think my side is all healed, I put it up to 7 incline and 3 speed and felt great. Tomorrow I will break in my resistance easy shaper thingy, lol. Yeow! wish me luck on that one
Oh I figured out I won’t be able to listen to the Seminars becuase they come on right at our dinner time, bummer. I will download and listen later tiME.
I weighed in at my Club this morning and I gained a half pound and I think that is from not getting exercise for a few days, but I plan on not missing over 1 day this week.
Thank you for the posts on my 100 day challenge thread. One thing that really helped me in the beginning was to take the word ‘try’ out of my vocabulary. Try, to me, is just another word for, not gonna do it. So either I was going to do something or I wasnt (as Yoda would say “Do, or do not. There is no try.") So I was careful about deciding what was important for me to do, didn’t overcommit and then I just did my top priorities, no excuses. I started out with just a few commitments, and as those became habits, I added more or refined the things I was doing. Little steps, patience, and forgiving myself if circumstances prevented me from achieving my goals. One of my first commitments was walking 5000 steps per day (up to 10K now). It wasnt unusual for me to be walking back and forth in my house before I went to bed in order to get my last 100 or so steps in. Some of my friends tell me they aren’t as determined or motivated as I am or they can’t do whatever to get themselves in shape, as they watch my progress. It is not that I am doing anything that hard. It is just that I am only making small promises that I want to, and am reasonably able to, keep because I know they will ultimately get me where I want to go (no matter how long it takes, as long as I am consistent), and then I just do them, every day, like I promised myself I would.
I tried out my easy shaper this morning, we will see if I did a good job, tomorrow morning if I have sore muscles then probably did it right. I couldnt do the ones on the floor which is what I really wanted because no dvd player, can’t believe that one. I just have to use computer monitor and once I get on the floor I can’t see anything. lol. I am trying to get my husband convinced we need a flat screen television with dvd or blue thingy thing allredy installed on it. My husband is quit a bit older than me and his motto is if it anit broke not replacing it. I look at my flat screenputer monitor and then look at the picture on old fashioned TV it drives my eyes batty.....eeekkkk. Oh well, someday…
I missed posting on my 12 day. I didn’t exercise that day because of many errands that were thrown in on me at the first moment of the day.
So I have had 2 days off an now back on track today the 13th, oh wow, well 13 has always been my lucky number.
I enjoyed my treadmill today could have pushed the envelope a bit more but got in a basic mile but had speed up and inlcline to, so felt fairly good about it. I went out in our bone chilling temperatures and played with the dogs for awhile and plan on doing git again this afternoon.
Feeling good about my food intake, watching not to prepare anything bad for the diet. Lots of fiber, fruits and veggies. I love the veggie burgers, last night I chopped them up and incorporated them into some Spanish rice, husband even like it an he has always been a big meat eater. I have disliked meat from the get go so I use to burn meat for him for maybe 25 35 years and then I said no way and it doesn’t have any fiber its just muscle ick no really great equalities that I can see, so we eat lots of beans, veggeis, rices, have to cook potatoes occasionally the fruit intake we have upped quiet a bit and he is happy camper.
Ya they love it but they are rascals, we have to keep them chained up becaue they take off and get into Porcupines and then its over $300. to the vet and a nights stay. I can let one Lab loose and she won’t go anywhere but if her sister is loose at the same time they are gone for hours. Such a worry. This morning the one that stays near had gotten off her leash and it was cool she stayed by her sister.
Do you have dogs?
I got my exercise in today t,he 14th day! also went out and shoveled somemore snow that appeared last night. Today is my badder day of the week, pizza tonight! tomorrow not sure if i will make something bad for the game or not, probably not.
Yes the fellows who live next door don’t have TV because of their jobs here, but i found out today you can watch Super Bowl live on NFL.com so i will let them know that and they might just as soon stay at their place of work and watch. I never watch it except for the commercials the next day on line, lol. My husband goes to bed by at least 6:p.m. so i have the whole night to do whatever i want , lol. I usually end up playing a few games on line and maybe a couple shows on TV and bed by 10. Not to exciting but don’t usually snack on bad stuff. I love those pringles sticks 100 calorie packs. I bought some hot pepper ones, really good,
Thanks , take care, and i am going to be more gooder than badder.
I do not have dogs currently, but I’ve always been a dog person. My husband is not an indoor dog person, and our lifestyle just isn’t very conducive to having pets. I do have an old cat who is mostly an outdoor cat. He comes in to visit and hang out when it’s cold or he needs people time. We have automatic feeders for him so we can go away for a few days and not worry too much about him. I’ve had him now for 8 or so years, and he is very typically ... CAT ... complete with the cattitude and all!
Hope you’re having a great weekend. I’ve been getting things done around the house and trying to stay warm. It is pretty cold for Georgia right now.
I don’t let the Labs in the house, the Border collie only gets in if i am afraid she might nip a stranger, lol. It’s usually only for a few minutes and she doesn’t get the run of the house. We are in Utah and it’s been getting only in the teens most of the winter but today it was actually 40 it felt so good i went out and cleaned my car out. There is still mounds of snow to melt. What i shoveled this morning was only a inch or so. The trees are budding out like crazy as if to say, early Spring please, lol.
Better get back to playing my solitaire addiction game..Thanks
15th day. Did my walking outdoors today, yahoo, the weather is so nice out almost 40 and very doable to be out for longer without gloves on. Going to walk again this afternoon.
My husband wants sandwiches for dinner, boo, I was going to make Jambalya but he said no, so he is getting sloppy joes made out of veggie patties, ho, ho on him, lol. I have been looking at cookie recipes today and have all the ingridents for many but i am convincing my brain i do not want to have a bunch of cleaning up to do, so far so good.
16th day...I walked on the treadmill today, boy are my legs sore from doing my walking in the snow yesterday. I am thinking this afternoon to going outside and doing somemore walking and see if i can totally cripple myself, lol.
I am not doing to well in the losing department, i was trying out that sensa product and for me its a dud, so i cancelled further shipments and going to get the Diet Solutions and try that one. I hear Scott speak highly of it, so i am interested.
Hope everyone is happy and ready for a awsome week. Hugs
Shapeshifter, please make sure you stretch those legs at least every day. I probably wouldn’t be having the difficulties I’m having now if I had stretched consistently.
Walking in snow is like walking on sand. In both cases your smaller muscles have to keep correcting for balance. It’s much harder than walking on firm ground!
