SMSM CHALLENGE FOR ROSH

June 14th was officially day one for the 100 day challenge.  I biked with my eleven yr old in the morning for 30 min. and walked in the evening for 45 min.

DAY 2 6/15, Another bike ride had to cut it short at only 35 minutes because of a sudden thunderstorm.  The good news is that it forced me to take a really steep hill home the kicked me into a good sweat.

DAY 3 6/16, Walked outdoors hills and trails for 50 minutes.

DAY 4 got delayed due to house guests to entertain to two nights.  Day 4 6/19 walked outdoors for 1hr.
Day 5 6/21 Swam laps for 45 mins and paid for that all night, achy arms.

DAY 6 6/23 biked with my girls for 35 mins.
Day 7 6/24 walked for 25 mins in the am.  That’s the first am workout in a long time.

DAY 8 6/25 too hot to walk so I swam laps for 30 min.

I’ve been exercising but no time to journal here, so here’s my post to catch up.

DAY 9 6/27 walked outside on trails for 60mins.
DAY 10 6/30 walked outside on trails for 45 mins.
DAY 11 7/2 walked on treadmill for 60 mins.
DAY 12 7/3 biked on trails for 60 mins.
DAY 13 7/4 walked on treadmill for 60 mins. and started strength training on the bowflex

I must admit, I’m already feeling better.

DAY 15 7/7/09 WALKED TRAILS FOR 70 MINUTES
DAY 16 7/8/09 BIKED FOR 40 MINUTES AND SWAM FOR 10 MINUTES

My efforts have slowed down with exercise as of late.  My time has been spent at baseball tournaments with my son.  I’m getting refocused today!
DAY 17 7/11/09 SWAM FOR 30 MINUTES.

DAY 18 7/13/09 I walked in the neighborhood (somewhat hilly) for 50 minutes.  I didn’t get to start until 10pm, so it was a little hard to get to bed, but I’m glad I went.

DAY 20 7/17/09 Walked trails for 55 min.
DAY 21 7/18/09 Biked with my daughter for 45 min. & spent 8 hours building a brick patio.  I have muscles that I’d forgotten about!  Ouch.
Day 22 7/19/09 Spent another 6 hrs. finishing the brick patio.  It was very tough work for me, but well worth it.  Taking the day off from exercise tomorrow to try to recover.

DAY 25 07/26/09 Biked on the trail for 50 mins.

Rosh, welcome to the exercise challenge and congratulations for finding those muscles. You’ve been very consistent so I’m glad to read that you can feel the difference. Keep it up and you’ll be amazed at how much difference you feel!
