Day 125
Rest day - need to stop that!  Started to exercise TWICE during lunch break, but got interrupted each time.  That evening I developed a headache, which is rather unusual for me, so i went to bed early.

Day 126
I still have the headache, even after a good night’s sleep.  Took some drugs, and went to exercise.  It has diminished in intensity, but is still present.  Not fun.
Went to the YMCA and did 25 minutes on elliptical.  Then went to the local school track and did another 2 miles.  Just wanted to be outside for a bit!  It threatened rain, but never did.

Dance practice is tomorrow.  The excessive “rest days” are done!

today’s exercise might help with the headache. Enjoy the dancing tomorrow.

Day 127
Dance practice - roughly one hour of dance time

Day 128
20 minutes on elliptical before work - rather amazing for me, since I am just not a morning exerciser.  Later, did some hamstring and heel cord stretching - left hamstrings are a little sore today, probably from yesterday’s dancing.

Tomorrow, there will be dance class in the evening, and a possible trip to the YMCA during the day.

Day 129
Roughly 1 hour of dancing during clogging class

Day 130
20 minutes on elliptical
30 minutes doing exercises and balancing on ball while watching TV until the storm knocked my cable out

Day 131
20 minutes on treadmill before work
15 minutes on elliptical during lunch break

Day 132
Dancing all day!  Clogging “workshop” at the studio, followed by a 1-hour show at a nursing home.  Estimate 3 hours of dance time today.  Part of it was not intense - learning some fairly easy routines, but the performance part was of course full intensity.

I notice that you exercised before work again. You’re really moving.

Peeking in to see your progress, and I’m amazed.  Would love to exercise before work again, but I cant get my tush out of bed at 3:30am. Your motivating me to try harder.

Day 133
Clogging practice to prepare for an upcoming competition.  Roughly 60 minutes of actual dance time - the rest was just working out small details.

Day 134
20 minutes on treadmill during lunch break, along with quad stretching.  Quads were sore from the weekend of dancing.

Thanks for the support, ladies!  Suz, I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed at that time, either.  The early morning exercise is a rarity for me, but it is a good start for the day (occasionally).

Day 137
Went to the YMCA!  22 minutes on the elliptical, followed by 20 minutes walking on treadmill.  Should be doing some strength training, but I have clogging events all weekend and didn’t want to be sore.

Day 138
I am at a clogging workshop.  Did 3 dance classes today - all were fairly easy teaches - today was a light day, and there will be many more classes offerred tomorrow.  Went to the “fun dance” this evening for a couple hours and worked up some serious sweat with energetic cloggers of all ages.

Now I need to get some good sleep to prepare for tomorrow.  I will be sore, but it will definitely be a good time!

Day 139
Went to 7 dance classes at the workshop today - I had a great time!  Tomorrow, will be competing with the rest of the team; tonight, I am sleeping with a heating pad.  It’s pretty safe to say that Monday will be a rest day!

Day 140
LOOOOONG day at the clogging competition, but a great day!  Danced in 8 categories, did well in a few. wink

Also got to watch performances by cloggers far more skilled than yours truly.

Day 141
REST DAY!

Back to work tomorrow.  Planning to get in a little workout during lunch break.

I had to chuckle at the image of you sleeping with a heating pad . . . but I think many of us could identify with it.

Day 142
Also became a rest day - still recovering from the weekend.

Day 143
STILL dragging today!  Partially due to a poor night’s sleep last night - thunderstorm, no electricity…
Started out on the treadmill at lunch at my usual pace, and had to eliminate the incline and decrease the speed because I was so tired!  However, there was time today to go for 30 minutes instead of the usual 20, so perhaps that made up for it a little.

Going to bed EARLY tonight, and planning for a brief exercise session before work tomorrow.  It’s rare, but I’ll try it for tomorrow!

Day 144
Did not make it out of bed early for a workout, but went to the YMCA this evening for some exercise.  Did 25 minutes on elliptical and 25 minutes on treadmill, with some stretching afterwards.

Day 146
Went to a hoedown last night at the local square dance hall with a few fellow cloggers, another friend, and one clogger’s hubby.  There was a bluegrass band! We did clogging and joined in a little square dancing.  I don’t know much about square dancing, so that part pretty much consisted of the rest of the square leading me where I needed to go, but it was fun!  Also followed along with a little line dancing when the band took a break.

The clogger’s hubby won the split-the-pot drawing, so I think he was happy with the evening, even though he doesn’t dance!

Planning to head to the YMCA later today.

Day 147

Instead of going to the YMCA, which was near its early Sunday closing time when I was ready to exercise, I walked 4 miles on the school track.  Several other people had the same fine idea this afternoon!
