I’ve made these for 2 parties and they are always a hit!  After cooking the meatballs, I just put them in a crockpot and pour the sauce on them and set on low for a couple of hours.  You may need to double the recipe, or they will be gone in a flash!

2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 tsp. parsley flakes
2 tbls. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbls. finely chopped onion
1 cup uncooked quick cooking oats
2 eggs beaten
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1/3 cup ketchup

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and roll into 2” balls.  Arrange in a shallow baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.  Drain and spoon sauce over top and bake additional 15 minutes.

Sauce:
1 16 ounce can jellied cranberry sauce
12 ounce bottle chili sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbls. lemon juice
whisk together

Joi,

Could you please clarify the amount of brown sugar under the sauce portion of the recipe?

Thanks,
Lori

Hey Lori -

Looks like Joi corrected the amount to 1/2 cup so go for you.  You’ll like these.
