Hi everyone.  I’ve been futzing around with MTM for the past year or so and finally decided to get serious.  Not quite serious enough to do the Mastermind thing, but serious enough to improve on my fitness program, so here I am.  I’ve been cycling for 14 years and ride about 250 miles a week.  I’m 5’8” and weigh in at 260 lbs. with 37% bodyfat, so obviously I’m not doing something right.  I’m hoping MTM will provide me with the insights I need into myself and my plan to finally get the job done.

Sounds a bit like my story.  I just joined MTM after taking the free stuff for a year or more.  We are about the same size and sound like we have a similar workout ethic (but I don’t bike anymore).  I just eat too much.

Your last post was a while ago.  How are things going?

Welcome Workin on Moving…
Wow 250 miles a week is impressive!!!  You should great about that!!! That is not an easy task
there at all.  So your cholesterol must be low and your heart must be in great shape!!  That’s the same
story here for me as well.  I workout 6 days a week my cholesterol is 120 my heart is great but can’t
lose weight.... I think maybe we need to get more serious about journaling our food every single bite
we eat and make sure were not missing something that’s holding us back.  Do you lift any weight?
If not… from what I hear we need to be lifting more as well.  Please let me know how it goes and if
any of that helps you out?

Hey there - thanks for posting!

I think maybe moderator Tom can give you a few tips on cycling to whittle away pounds. We have quite a few cycle-heads out there, to be sure.

Like Charlene suggests, it’s probably in your diet. Simple journaling of everything you put into your mouth for a week will shed some light on your patterns and intake/output in energy.

Whatever you choose to do, you’re among friends - glad to meet ya! Yay fellow premium member! Go for it!

Cheers,
