I had a dream last night and it had me picking lettuce to eat.  A weird dream version of romaine but still lettuce.

Now, I totally expect to have dreams about chocolate, pizza, candy, cake etc........ and chocolate (so good it deserves to be mentioned twice) but LETTUCE!!

It can’t be because I am eating too much of it since I have only had one salad this week.

Is it a “Click”?  Has something change in my subconscious that accepts lettuce as a food to crave?

Does anyone else have dreams about food?

LOL - what is it with weird dreams this week.  A friend of mine just email me about a dream she had of me - a navy sweater, an old style wringer washer and a dissapparing wall!!

At least maybe you are craving things that are actually good for you!  Do you grow lettuce in your garden?

No, I don’t even have a garden!  I do have a great produce stand down the street that I go to during the summer.  I just got back with fruits, veg and a huge watermelon.  No lettuce though, I have lots in the fidge already and they don’t sell lettuce there.

I just picked it, I woke up before I ate any.  Probably why I remember the dream.

Curiously, I cannot remember dreaming about food. Except way back when I worked in a diner in my college years. I dreamed that I was behind the bakery counter with customers PACKED into the narrow foyer, everyone waving and reaching and pointing and my not being able to help all of them.

Which just about happened in the summer when the arts festival came to town.
