Over here, it’s the first of April tomorrow.
I’ll be doing Day 1 of my 100 days.
It starts tomorrow with a morning bush-walk.
I will walk most mornings. Anything above that is a bonus for these first hundred days.
No joke

Enjoy your daily bush-walking! Welcome to your own challenge!
It’s helping me to stay on track, even when the motivation sometimes (rarely) isn’t that high.

Can you believe it?
I did it.
*phew*
The first day is always the hardest.
It was soooo dark I had to walk by a sliver of moon and a blanket of stars.
Another one tomorrow.
5.30am. Up the mountain. Down the mountain.

Day 2 - No walk
Too many sleep disturbances.
That is a concession I give myself - it seems reasonable - if I have to get up for children more than once in the night I tend to sleep through my walk time.
I guess that’s okay.

Hope you’ll have a great sleep tonight, so you can do your bush walk tomorrow.
I’m about to go to bed so you should actually be waking up in an hour or so…
I’ll check on you tomorrow.

Day Three
Did a long walk. Up the mountain, down the mountain.
Ticked the usual creatures off my list.
It’s such a pleasant experience I never want it to end.
The same tomorrow is planned.

I’ll check on you tomorrow.
In the end - it’s that sentence of yours above that made me open the door and go for a walk
Thanks for the motivating accountability!!!

Good job! I’m resting today after working out for 4 days. Tomorrow’s my day off so I am doing a long run. At least 10 km. I live in the desert currently, no exciting nature walking for me!
But I do enjoy it anyway!

Day Four - nothing
Day Five -dragged visitors for a hour long walk at dusk
Day Six - did 5km fun run with kid in pram. I was hoping for a better run time but I’m glad we got out and did it anyway.
Tomorrow - hopefully a good session at the gym or a short run

Day seven - nothing
Day eight - an hour up the mountain then down the mountain.
Today I had the feeling that I could walk forever.
I wondered about not turning off and walking to my door but just walking west until land runs out or my legs fall off.

Good job on sticking too it!! I wish I had mountains to hike on… I have some lovely forests nearby, but I’m sure they are really mucky right now!!!
Enjoy your stretch - now that I have some more muscle if feels even better when I spend the time lengthing them.

Day thirteen - stretch
Day fourteen - nothing
Day fifteen - half hour walking up jogging down
Ok, I’ll admit it. If I don’t get it done before 9.00am, it’s not going to happen.
I try to kid myself and say I’ll ‘do it later’ but there is no hour on the clock called ‘later’.
It’s early morning or nothing, at least for now.
I want to get to the end of these 100 days and have at least fifty active days. I better get cracking!
