Momentum - a word almost everybody understands yet so few actually experience.
I wish I where an astronaut!
Living in Florida, I’ve become accustom to watching the amazing spectacle of a Space Shuttle launch.
Sometimes I travel to the Kennedy Space Center on my Harley and pick a spot along the Indian River with tens of thousands of others to witness this truly awe-inspiring event!
And as a pilot - I’m even more amazed!
As part of our training, pilots occasionally practice an “Engine Out” landing so we know how to land the plane in the event of an emergency. Passengers are always amazed when I stop the engine and the airplane simply keeps on flying gently to the ground.
While the Space Shuttle weighs more than 4.5 million pounds, the concept is still the same. Momentum, once established though massive force, takes very little effort to maintain and allows for effortless control.
Hmmm? I wonder if NASA heard me say, “Stand Up, Take a Step, Repeat”?
The most difficult part of any challenge is getting started and the rest takes very little effort. That’s what the Start Moving Stay Moving Plan is all about and it’s what we’ll be talking about THIS TUESDAY during our FINAL tele-seminar.
