Give yourself a gift of a half-hour today to watch this video of Bill Strickland giving at talk at TED. It’ll probably be the most inspiring half-hour of your whole day… it was for me.
He built a world-class centre, complete with state-of-the-art computers, culinary school, art gallery, and vocational training programs, in the middle of inner-city Pittsburgh, to train ex-steel-workers and welfare moms. It is by far the most gorgeous place I have ever seen.
