You’re doing great!! Wow .. over 100 lbs bench press… I’ve gotten up to 75 with my trainer, but stick to about 65 max when I’m on my own. It will be cool when I can actually start using the really big plates.

I just went back and read through your thread from the beginning. I admire the fact that you are brave enough to post your pictures. There is no way I would be willing to take any right now!! And I could see a difference; your shirt fits smoother in the second pics. I have definitely noticed the change in the fit of my clothing since I started, which is something I really enjoy… it is good motivation and confirmation that I am getting smaller.

Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for your vote of confidence.
Have you seen this thread it features peoples befores and afters and there is a pic of Deb that Scott is always talking about.  http://www.motivationtomove.com/forums/viewthread/1217/
I was talked into putting the pics up as an act of accountability by Bree and some others. Not just being accountable to myself and being able to look back and see the journey but also its about “paying it forward” and being an inpiration to others.  It was very uncomfortable for me to do it but it really has made a difference. Knowing that in another months time I’ve got to post a pic is another thing that keeps me on track.  This group of people is great and any fears of judgement you may have I think are unfounded.  If you do it you will be so pround of yourself when you see the results. When you get aknowledgement/support from other people on the site it will really help you along.

Thanks Penny - that was an awesome dose of inspiration… I hadn’t yet found that forum… Now I can really see I have something to shoot for!!  I have a bit to go before I’ll have an “after” photo to post.... it might be an in-progress photo.  Thanks for pointing me to it!!

well a month has gone by since last entry and still moving. No movement on scales since last time but as always Scott is right if I average the loss over the three months its 1lb per week except the scale dosn’t move for ages then plummets… bizarre.
Went to the podiatrist this week to get fitted for orthotics cause I havn’t been able to do much running etc cause of weak knees. I can highly recommend getting your feet checked out working from the foundation upwards so to speak. Its amazing how much they effect ones overall posture - I didn’t realise.
oh also had a break through last weekend my body actually craved excercise!  Was meant to be a friends house at 9.30am and had to ring to let them know I’d be late cause it was just too much of a spectacular day not to get out and ride!  Very cool.
Also got sooo carried away with my workouts and got slack with my record keeping that I unwittingly worked out for 7 days straight..... then crashed, when I stopped I didn’t realise how physically exhausted my body was and slept for moft of the weekend… from now on I am going to keep a better track of my rest days....
Anyways that its for the moment but keep moving cause those lbs do really average out so don’t get disheartened that scale will move eventually…
