Good job.  I’m just a few days behind you.

I got that Walk Away the Ponds DVD.  It is a good workout

Keep up the good work,

Day 47: 20 minute Marching Aerobics
15 minute Abs on the Balance Ball

I love the Walk Away the Pounds videos, because I can’t always go to the gym.  I can do those workouts in fairly small spaces.

Day 48: 20 minute Ultimate Walking Workout video

I put on a pair of pants today, and I had to use a safety pin to keep them up.  I’m at a point where my clothes are too big, but the next size down isn’t big enough.  I’m really starting to notice the results, and that’s what is getting me even more motivated.  Go me!  LOL

Day 49: 20 minutes on treadmill (including a few jogging!)
10 minutes on elliptical

It wasn’t as great of a workout as I could’ve gotten, but any movement is better than no movement!  My father in law comes from the hospital today, after 4 months of being away.  I’m so excited!  Not only will it be an absolute relief for him to be home, but it will give me the opportunity to go workout more often.

Also, Spring Break for my son is coming up in a few weeks, and I’m looking forward to an active vacation!

Great news, both the homecoming and that a few minutes of the walk were a jog!

I noticed that every time the world pushes you around, you take the time required to deal with it, and then push it back.  You are winning this battle.  Nicely done!

Awesome Job Sarah.  I’ve had to start wearing belts in some of my pants again.  I ended up staying up way too late the other night because I was digging into boxes of clothes I had packed away because they were too small.... I can now wear some of the stuff again, and have something to aim for with the items that are still a bit snug.  I know you are enjoying getting smaller as much as I am.  Keep up the good work!!

Day 50
20 minutes on treadmill
15 minutes on elliptical

I signed up for the inter-company softball league yesterday. Today, I went out and bought a bat and some softballs, and am still searching for a softball glove.  I’ve really been looking for some physical relationships, of this sort.  I’m super excited about it.

Also, there were 2 5k for Cancer (different cancers).  I’m going to sign up for both of them.  It’s really helping to have something to work toward.  I always wanted to be an athletic person!

Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement.  I told someone today that you all were my inspiration, and I meant it!  There’s NO WAY I could do this on my own!

Day 52

The softball game fell through, we decided to take my father in law back to church for the first time today (he’s a preacher, and has been away from his church for 4 months).  So, things didn’t quite go as planned.  Once we got him in the house, we had lunch as a family.  Then, my husband and I went to the ball field and hit a few balls.  Afterwards, we went to the courts, and played a little tennis.  I definitely got my workout today!

The important thing is that you moved!!  Awesome Job.  Now that you’ve had a bit of practice hitting you’ll do even better when that softball game is rescheculed!!

Day 53
20 minutes on treadmill
10 minutes on elliptical

I felt like I had a great workout tonight.  I was able to go a little faster, and I felt solid while I was doing the workout.  My breathing wasn’t as labored, and I’m staying more hydrated.  I feel a renewed sense of accomplishment now that I’ve gotten past the halfway point, and I’m still getting my workouts in.  The more other people notice, the more I want to keep going.

Day 55
Rest Day

There’s a lot going on in my life right now.  Fortunately, my in-laws are really making it easier for me to work out every night.  They’re very supportive.  Also, I bought a smaller size pants yesterday.  Go me!
