Day 9
35 minutes of Prevention’s Walk Your Way Slim

I got my Valentine’s Day present early from my hubby today!  He called it a “goal-oriented present”.  He got me a new workout outfit, and an iTunes gift card, so I could load my iPod with more great workout music.

I feel great today.  Especially after learning that hubby has lost a total of 30 lbs. so far.  I’m so proud of him, and he’s being so supportive of me.  I’m on a mission to catch up!

Day 11: Walking for 30 minutes
Day 12: Walking for 30 minutes

I haven’t had time to log my stuff this weekend, but I’ve been staying on top of it!  It’s hubby’s week off, too, so I can start going back to the gym this week.  I’m super excited!

Day 13: 35 minute walk on treadmill
10 minutes on Elliptical at 100 strides per minute

I feel so energized after going to the gym tonight, and newly motivated!  I am starting to see the difference in my clothes and my energy level.  As they say at McDonalds, I’m loving it!

Way to stay moving.  It’s really amazing that expending energy gives you more.  Keep up the great work!

I’ve been eating at Subway everyday for lunch, pretty much for the last 2 weeks.  I think I’m burnt out.  So, I have gone through all my favorite fast foods joints, and found the healthy things that I can eat at everyone of them.  I’m excited about varying my diet a little.

Also, I feel very energetic after such a great workout last night.  I can’t wait to back this evening!

Thanks so much for all your kind words.  This is such a great support system, and I don’t know how I’d learn to do it without you guys!

BTW, if you want a copy of my fast foods sheet, give me your email address.  If you print it, you can cut it out, fold it, and put it right in your wallet.  I carry mine everywhere I go!

When I know I am going out to eat, I always hit the restaurant’s website beforehand.  I always look at the nutritional info and make my decision even before I go in the place.  Helps me out.  Really happy to see that you are loving your life changes and having success at it.

Day 14
20 minutes on elliptical
10 minute walk
upper body

It’s the end of the first 2 weeks!  I feel like I’m doing pretty good, and I can’t wait until I see the drastic difference.  I hope everybody is as excited about their life change, as I am mine!

Day 15
I took a rest day

I went grocery shopping yesterday.  It was one of my best trips!  I really concentrated on lean meats, and fresh fruits and vegetables.  My son had a great time, too, because he LOVES fruit, and carrots.  Not to mention, he likes to ride in the big red car at Kroger.  I’m really excited about making some new homemade, and nutritious meals.

Also, yesterday, I went out and bought a scale.  I’ve never owned one, but I felt like it was important for us to have a reliable one around.  I was really surprised, but I weighed a little less than I thought I did.  So, that was my inspirational moment of the day.  I’m working hard to find some inspiration in everyday, to help keep me going.

Day 16
I took another rest day.  My calves are so sore, that I can barely move my right leg!  I even had to take a muscle relaxer to sleep last night.  It’s feeling a little better today, but I may have to take one more rest day.  I just don’t want to lose my momentum.

Day 17
Yet another rest day.  I felt like my legs were going to fall off.

Day 18
Back at it!  I did 35 minutes of an aerobics video

I’ve been looking at the schedule for FitTV, too.  I want to keep varying my workouts, so that I don’t get bored.  So far, I’m doing okay, but I’m sort of getting burned out on the same old thing.  I’m looking at some yoga, belly dancing, and bhagra.  I think it will be fun!

Day 19
I did 30 minutes of Shimmy (belly dancing) from FitTV.  It’s a lot more of a workout than I thought it was going to be.

One the bright side, I’m 10 lbs. lighter than I was when I started this journey!  Yay me!

Day 21
I did the 30 minute/2 mile Walk Away the Pounds last night.

I can’t wait for my new videos to come in.  I’m getting tired of doing the same ones.  I need a little more variety in my life.  But I’m still feeling good, and I’m still feeling strong!
