This is my official first day of excercise. I have been wanting to begin the 100 days for a while now. I think it is because I will have to answer to people and not just to myself. It’s easier to slack off when I’m the only one to answer to. But no more! I am only 10 lbs from my goal weight. I have been only 10 lbs away for 2 months now. I just need to set my goals, write them down and start moving. Tonight will be my workout.

-Squats 3 sets/12 reps
-Kneeling Cable Kickbacks (never done this so we will see) 3 sets/12 reps
-Deadlifts 3 sets/12 reps
-Lateral Lunges 3 sets/12 reps

Then, 45 minutes of cardio.

Wish me luck. No, I don’t need luck. Wish me Fun.

Congrats Julie, for making yourself hold yourself accountable by joining the 100 Days Challenge! How lucky you are to be only 10lbs away from your goal weight. From what point did you start?
You had a great first day!
Wishing you lots and lots of fun!  grin

• 2001-248 lbs. • May 2002-168 lbs. • Jan 2007 210 lbs. • Current 178 lbs.  • Goal: 140 lbs.

• Sometimes I think I understand everything, and then I regain consciousness.

• Everything will be A-OK as long as I keep on moving.

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

To tri is to risk failure, not to tri is to guarantee it!
