Hi All!  Happy New Year!
I’m back...actually I never left.  I just didn’t have a lot of time to post but I have been reading to keep my motivation up.  As I promised myself, I kicked the workout back up at the begining of the month and I found out that there was a personal trainer who lives in my apartment complex!  So far I’ve had 2 sessions with him.  I’m glad I hired him because he’s already pushing me more than I’ve been pushing myself.
Right now I’m still holding steady at 195 (really gotta clean up my diet to start that scale moving again!) and I’m 13 days into my 100 day challenge for this year!  Hope you all are doing as well (and better!) than I am!  I’ll check back in next Friday!  Have a great week!

Glad to see that you never left!!!  That is awesome that you have a personal trainer right down the hall from you, I bet that will make it harder to make excuses!!!  Don’t be a stranger, keep us posted on your journey!

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Hello Again!
Here I am with my weekly check in!  I’m up to Day 17 now.  Had some set backs this week that caused me to reschedule my workout one day and miss my session with the trainer completely but I rolled with the changes.  Since I had errands to run on the missed day, I made sure that I was parking in the spaces furthest away from the buildings and walking briskly in and out of the stores.  And while putting away groceries, I did some curls and squats with the canned goods.  Not a full gym work out but better than nothing...gotta keep moving forward!  Have a great week everyone and I’ll catch ya later!

Hey MTMers!
Checking in again!  I’m up to day 21 and I’m still moving despite all the set backs last week threw at me.  The bathrooms in the workout room of my apartment have gotten so bad that they’ve had to deny us access until they can get it fixed.  I walked for 45 minutes 4 days last week and reluctantly unpacked my exercise tapes.  I really don’t like the solitary-ness of tapes but I figure if Joy can use hers and keep moving I can too...temperarily.  So on those days the weather doesn’t allow me to get outside, I’ll pull out the tapes until they get the workout room up and running again.  See ya next week!

Has your husband made it home yet?

Hey Everyone!
Dee checking in here on Day 28.  Last week between my hubby coming home and Mother Nature, life got in the way.  I wasn’t able to get outside and move due to rain and my apartment sprung another major leak so I had to have the whole carpet replaced again! Despite that in the late afternoons I decided to walk to the grocery store three days last week (a 30 minute journey)...gotta adapt!  I’m happy to say that they’ve finally gotten everything repaired and today I’ll be back in the workout room hitting those leg machines.  I know my legs are gonna be screaming as I haven’t worked them as hard as I could have.  Everything is back on track now so I’ll see you next week!

It’s great that your so flexible, when you can’t hit the gym..... you can still get so much done in our hectic lives to stay healthy, and adapting like you do is a great example!
