Just musing ...

After hearing that letter read on today’s MTM Show about how to be happy, I immediately thought of one of my favorite books of all time ... “Happiness is a Choice” by Barry Neil Kaufman.

I’m not sure what first drew me to that book, because I’ve always been an optimist at heart and basically a very happy person, so I wasn’t looking for a book on how to be happy.  It must have been one of those books that the Universe pushed off the shelf and into my hands at the bookstore years ago. smile

Hope some of you find it helpful!  smile

I started watching 20/20 last night and part of the show was on happiness.  Yes, happiness is a choice we can make, and it feels really great when you make it.  The other funny thing is that the more I choose to be happy, even when circumstances are’t great, the better the curcumstances become.  The more happiness you bring into your life, the more comes in from other sources.

I’m going to check out that book, I’m also a very positive and optomistic person, most of the time, but everyone has down moments and that book might make a difference some day.

I am ME.  I am Just ME.  i’m a little like other cats, but mostly I am just ME.

The brain is like a muscle. When we think well, we feel good.

Always listen to experts.  They tell you what can’t be done and why.  Then do it.

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.

I agree that happiness is definitely a choice. And I may look into that book someday. Thanks for the recommendation, Judy!!
