Hope the blisters are better.  You can salt them every day.  I usually do 15 min.  You better get back out there!  Every day we don’t work out is another day we don’t lose weight!

Ouch, Tammy are your shoes new or to small? If there new you can where them around the house and when your not wearing them stuff newspaper in them to keep the shape,it is also recommended that if you do a lot of walking or running you buy your shoes 1/2 to 1 size larger that what you need to take into account foot swelling.

That’s why they say that? I’ve always wondered, and ignored them. I’d read that some shoes run small, and that’s why, huh.

Sorry to hear about the blisters, Tammy. Painful little buggers. Hope the new skin helps, works wonders for scratches!

Day 16
5 miles
Wasn’t wearing my nike sensor (went with a friend to walk to the waterway)...dangit!!

Day 17
Clearing brush and trees from our land

Yeah, my shoes are relatively new. I’ve only put about 16 miles on them.  I bought them a 1/2 size larger, but I think my problem was I wasn’t wearing the right socks.  I just wore my normal socks, not really expecting to walk 8 miles that day.  However...good news. They seem to be on the mend!  They were a bit sore yesterday after our walk, but they didn’t “reinflate”...not really sure how best to describe that or the technical term for it!  Today I didn’t walk, but I’ve been doing heavy duty yard work. We have 30 acres of timberland and we’re trying to clear spots out for a garage (they start building tomorrow!!!) and I decided I wanted a bigger back yard, so I took the skidsteer and moved down a bunch of junk trees.  I still have a lot of work to go, but the final outcome will look like a park with an outdoor kitchen!!! I can’t wait! It’ll take me a good 2-3 years to get it just right (and to save up the money!), but it will be nice.

Tomorrow I’ll be putting the miles in again.  It’s full throttle from here on!!

How’d the walk go today?  I finally got everything to work and logged a 3.4 mi walk today.  I’m finally on the board!!  Have a long way to go to catch up to you and Candy though.  BTW - what is your nike screen name… who am I trying to catch up to??

Sounds like you have a nice peice of land - enjoy making the yard bigger - more space to MOVE around in!!

Day 18
Work Day

Day 19
1 measly mile

I’ve had to work overtime for the past 7 days, so I didn’t feel much like walking today. I made myself get on the treadmill and get a mile in. Not happy with that number, but at least I moved some.

They started building our garage today. Should be done in a couple of weeks!

Catherine, my Nike+ name is Bellly....glad to see ya with us!

Day 20 & 21
Worked late, got home, ate soup, and went to bed

Day 22
Walked the waterway. Don’t know how many miles, as I didn’t have my Nike+ sensor on, but I got in over 10000 steps that day.

Day 23
4.01 miles, all on treadmill...BORING!!!!

Day 24
We walked the nature preserves (new place) by the recycling place my husband drops his oil off at.  It was a nice walk.  Again, I didn’t have the Nike+ sensor, as this was not a planned walk.  It was such a beautiful day though, we decided to go do something outside!

They cut our phone lines while putting the garage up, so I was without the Internet for a little while. Then, after they fixed the phone lines, I didn’t feel like staring at the computer after doing that project for work. My eyes needed a rest!!

Hey Candy,

Sorry I’ve not been checking in. I just haven’t felt like being on the computer in the evenings after work.

Day 25 & 26
Rest Days

Day 27
Yard Work (45 mins)

Day 28
Don’t remember, probably didn’t do much

Day 29
Cut down 7 Pine Trees from the backyard, cut trees up, moved to burn piles

Day 30
Continued moving trees to burn piles (day before, kicked my butt and didn’t finished), planted 10 Oleander plants, walked the waterway with my husband to restaurant for lunch, then walked back to Borders (roughly 2 miles round trip).

I’ll try my best to check in more than I have been. OH...I bought my husband the new Nike+ sport band so he can challenge other runners out there!

Day 31
1.64 miles treadmill

Hey Bree, thanks for the concern. I’ve just been a little down lately.  I changed my position at work, which has been a little stressful. My parents sold their house and are packing up. They leave in a week to go back to NC for good. I’m a little upset about that. I thought I’d be ok with it, but now that it’s here I’m not ok with it.  I just need to get over it and get myself back on track, but it’s very hard. Glad to hear about the MRI.

Thanks Shawn! Emmi, he seems to enjoy it a great deal. Today was only day one, so we’ll see how it goes!

You deserve a spa treatment. I’m ordering a bubble bath and a new nail polish STAT! Possibly a really cute pair of sandals to show of freshly painted toenails.

Here’s to a wonderful day!
