You are doing great, Tim! To answer your question from forever ago… yes, a modified push-up is from the knees.

Good luck on the house! If not yet, spring is coming and that’s when most people want to move. I don’t miss the snow in that area, yuck!

You’re doing great Tim. That scale will start budging again soon. Just be patient. Good luck with the house. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Well… this week has been challenging to say the least with the weather! A snowstorm hit during Thursday night rush hour and I left early (3:30 or so) and it STILL took me 4 hours, 10 minutes to get home!!! Then, I flew out of O’Hare on Friday and that flight was delayed two hours… finally got home late last night. (Of course, my boss sent me an e-mail saying that I could cancel my trip but I got the message when I was in the hotel in Minneapolis… oh well.)

Although my workplace is really flexible with working from home… unfortunately it is not always possible with meetings and such. Also, I want to resist playing that card too often. (I’m debating whether I should ask to work from home on Monday… I do have a meeting but, of course, MORE bad weather is being forecasted!! UGH!!!)

As a result of all this recent ruckus… I miss a couple of days of workouts but doubled up today on my cardio and weight training.

1/26 (Day 25): Rest Day
1/27 (Day 26): 30 minutes elliptical
1/28 (Day 27): 20 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes elliptical
1/29 (Day 28): Rest Day
1/30 (Day 29): 10 minutes stairclimber, 30 minutes elliptical
1/31, 2/1, 2/2 (Days 30-32): All rest days due to travel and crazy weather! confused
2/3 (Day 33): 30 minutes elliptical, 50 abdominal crunches, Upper Body Workout

Enjoy Spygate Sunday… errrrrr.... Super Bowl Sunday everyone. Don’t eat too many wings!! cheese

9 is awesome, Tim! You are doing really well, especially with all the commuting trouble you’re having. Don’t suppose your company offers a buyout package for the house? That saved us when we moved here from Ohio.

Is your team winning? At least its not a blowout this year, Tom Petty did a good job too. Brought back so many memories.

Don’t worry about 9 pushups, just keep doing them and before you know it you’ll be cranking them out.  That’s a good stack of workouts you’ve got there.  You’re doing great Tim!

Hey all -

I have been buried under a snowbank over the past few days… and finally have dug myself out so I can update things.

I am taking off on Fri and Mon… as we have been bombarded with snow (better than tornadoes… I hope you aren’t too affected by the severe weather Bree). Some recent commute times… last Thurs… 4 hours, 10 min… Wed afternoon (after the office closed)… 2 hours, 30 min… This morning… 2 hours, 40 min.

Here’s the update…

2/4 (Day 34): Lower Body Workout, 50 abdominal crunches
2/5 (Day 35): 30 minutes elliptical, 10 minutes stairclimber
2/6 (Day 36): Rest Day… plus 17 inches of snow!! grrr
2/7 (Day 37): 2 hours of basketball

Yes… my friend knew I was off tomorrow and called today to see if I wanted to play basketball. I decided to go and realize that very little can prepare you for playing basketball!! Talk about using muscles in your body that don’t otherwise get utilized… I am going to pay for that tomorrow!!! shut eye

Hey Bree… my company is offering to hire movers to move our stuff plus a $1,000 stipend for house hunting. Their theory was that I shouldn’t get a full blown relocation package since I live close enough to commute short term. Of course, under normal circumstances, the commute would be short term. We unfortunately listed our home for sale at the exact time the real estate marketplace started to tank!! confused

I am happy that the Giants won… it was a great game although I DID each too many chicken wings!
