1/15 (Day 14): 30 minutes elliptical, 10 minutes exercise bicycle, 50 abdominal crunches

Well I eeked out 5 push ups today… I should be up to 6 in no time!! LOL

This week has been sort of rough… the travel this past weekend, the travel to work this week, then a business trip to Atlanta on Friday/Saturday! Ugh! sick

Kirsten did well at the dance competition… got the highest award on one of her solos (they basically judge every performance on its own merits and usually goes gold, silver, bronze… depending on however the dance company defines it). She had a brain freeze on her other one and had to settle for the 2nd highest award. She did well… and this is the first competition of the year and we learn a lot from the judge’s comments. Now, I just hope that my wife doesn’t overanalyze her performance to the point that Kirsten will be thinking too much and not let things come to her naturally.

Of course, I was on “twin duty” this past weekend!! cheese Definitely enjoyed the Packer game from the hotel room while the twins watched movies on the laptop computer.

Great job on the push-ups! It would help you build up strength if you added modified push-ups to your regular ones.

Tell your little one congrats, and great job! As long as she had fun, she did perfect, and getting high awards is just a bonus!

Good workout.  5 push ups is great.  Do a little more each day and you’ll be surprised at what you will be able to do in 100 days.

Don’t worry about the trip this weekend.  You can do push ups and crunches in the room.  They might even have a gym.

That’s wonderful that your daughter did so well.  I"m sure you’re very proud.

Thanks everyone! Bree… what are modified push-ups?? Are they done on the knees?

Kirsten has a blast dancing, she is even choreographing one involving her and the twins!! She actually has stated that she wants to be a dance teacher when she grows up!

Catchin’ up…

1/16 (Day 15): 20 minutes stairclimber (good exercise!), 10 minutes treadmill (ran for 6 minutes again), 50 abdominal crunches

1/17 (Day 16): Lower body workout, 50 abdominal crunches

SEVEN push ups!! Woo hoo… I AM AN ANIMAL!!!! vampire

Sorry that I haven’t been visiting your threads… I have other business to tend to and will hopefully check back later in the evening.

Oh yeah… I should also mention that I haven’t lost any weight during the last two weigh ins… I’m probably still not being as good with the eating and drinking as I should. confused

Yeah Emmi… the Pack blew it big time… they abandoned the run and Favre threw that very untimely interception in OT. Crud.

1/18 and 1/19 (Days 17 and 18): Rest Days
1/20 (Day 19): 40 minutes elliptical, 50 abdominal crunches
1/21 (Day 20): Upper body workout

I blew it yesterday also… definitely overdid it at the neighbor’s party with the food and drink. I made the classic mistake of not eating until I arrived at the party at about 3:00 pm and jumped right into chicken wings and other junk. I really felt it today… VERY toxic… blah!

I went to Atlanta this weekend and was stranded at the airport… not overnight, thankfully… just for 7 hours waiting out the flight delay. Yup… Atlanta was SLAMMED with a whole inch of snow!! LOL

I am working from home today… and will soon be writing the “State of the Union” address to our realtors whose contract runs out next month. They want us to reduce the price again and we won’t do it until they rewrite our listing, retake our pictures, and a few other things. It’s time to step things up with our listing… with Spring around the corner and the interest rates dropping!!!! cool grin

That’s the plan Shawn… cut the 2 hour one way trip to 30 minutes so I can get THREE HOURS A DAY OF MY LIFE BACK!!!! cool mad

I just sent the note to the realtor… price will drop another $10,000 as long as they rewrite our listing, take new pictures, etc. Their contract expires in about 30 days… so we’ll see how this goes! smile

Great new pic, Emmi!!

OK… this was a rough week commuting-wise… a lot of snow and cold in the Midwest which equates to driving hell in the Chicago area!! confused

Does this set a record… a 3 hour 20 minute trip to work on Tuesday morning after a substantial snowfall!!! grrr

Anywho… here is my update…

1/22 (Day 21): Rest Day (Too much driving… no time to exercise this day)
1/23 (Day 22): 30 min elliptical, 10 min stairclimber
1/24 (Day 23): 15 min treadmill, 25 min elliptical
1/25 (Day 24): Lower Body Workout, 50 abdominal crunches

... and my weight STILL hasn’t changed from the New Year… but the body fat percentage is steadily decreasing. I admit that I still am not being as good as I could be!! confused

Great news though… we’ve had a couple of showings for our home in the last week and a couple came through an Open House last Sunday who were really interested. Plus, our $10,000 price reduction will take effect next week… so there is a “pulse”!!  cheese

Have a great weekend everyone!

Don’t you get to stay home when it snows like that?  I think you should.  It’s only fair.

Good going on all the workouts you got in even with your travel and bad weather.  Way to go!!

I’ll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you on the house.  I hope you get a buyer.
