I’m pretty sore from yesterday’s workout; it’s the first one in a couple of weeks I did my lower body, as I was protecting my knees. So although my entire body feels it, my legs are sorest!
You always know that you did good when you end up sore afterward… (so long as it is not pain!!) I enjoy discovering new muscles I’m developing - most recently I’ve discovered my hamstrings!!
Deb, you’re doing great! Are you still icing your knees after your walks? If hubby asks, just say you heard it was really good for arthritis sufferers, that should calm him down. Anything that stops potential inflammation without a pill is a great thing. Keep up the great work!
Thanks guys! I am glad to be feeling better; pain is no fun… It’s funny, but you’re right Bree, Randy wouldn’t get nearly as upset if the reason was arthritis rather than exercise.
We had our first campfire last night - even though there’s still snow in the yard!
Feeling my usual Monday strength and therefore exhaustion - at least muscle exhaustion. I like it - I did one more rep on every exercise today, “just for fun” Wild!
I just have to say last year about this time we had an April blizzard and got 2 feet of snow...last night it rained hard all night. I heard this morning that Bemiji got 2 feet of snow! Hurrah - we missed it this year!!
(I’m secretly hoping to get another good snow storm so we can break the record here in Toronto for he most snow ever!! There are only a few patches left here and there, but for the most part is is melted away. Everything is mucky!!)
Good job for sticking to it. How much better is your health since April of last year??
Catherine, if there is any threat of snow, I’ll be sure to send it your way! Even though we’ve had a relatively dry winter, I’d just as soon be done with it for this year. When you asked about the difference in my health between now and last April, I thought, “I don’t remember last week, and she expects me to remember last year!?!” So I went to “my memory”, which was last year’s 100 Day Journal - and I found that it’s gone! Oh dear! I wrote Carlyn at the beginning of the year, asking if there was a way to download an entire thread. I didn’t hear back, and I’m so mad at myself for not following up on that...there goes my book Bummer…
I agree Joan, nobody I know would understand that sort of fun either...So glad for MTM!
Hey Deb - Awesome anniversary post. I didn’t have a chance to read it first in the forum, but I’m glad you forwarded it to my Dad so he could share it on the MTM Show. It still amazes me how far you’ve come and the wonderful insights you always have to share.
I wanted to let you know about your old 100 days challenge threads - they’re still available if you’d like to use them (for a book? ) I’m sorry for not getting back with you sooner about it. I did a bit of research back when you emailed me and it doesn’t look like our forum software has any easy way to download an entire thread. Although, I did try just highlighting an entire page of the thread and copying it to a Word document. It doesn’t look as pretty as the forum of course, but it creates a pretty nice log.
Anyway, I’ve revived your old 100 days challenge threads so you can keep them for your records if you have a chance to copy them:
