Did you wear the boot?

Yep.  Wore the boot on the right foot and a shoe on the left for yoga.  The teacher helped me modify my positions.  There were 7 students in the class, so lots of attention for each student.  Great class. Plan to go again on Thursday.

Priscilla

Wonderful to see you again!!  Sorry about your foot, but you’re doing wonderfully on the Challenge.  It’s great that you’re taking advantage of your workplace yoga.  Keep it up!!

Take care

The great thing about that is that the more you work the less it hurts! Good job Priscilla!

Wow that is nice!!! I guess I am weird though, I like to be a “loner” when I work out because if I work out with a buddy, I end up thinking of it as a competition.  Glad to see you are mobile again!

Day 12 and 13 Saturday and Sunday

No formal exercise, but a lot of activity moving my things back into the house after having the entire interior repainted.  Still have a lot of boxes to bring in from the garage and many things to put away.  Pretty strenuous and I’m really tired, so it think it counts as exercise.

I’d say that counts.  That’s a lot of work.  Have a good rest.

Activity + moving + tired = exercise for sure

Bree does Yoga Booty (I think) and you’re doing Boot Yoga. You ought to get an act together!

Day 14 Monday - Rest Day

Day 15 Tuesday - Yoga 1 hour Pretty strenuous, seems a bit easier (more possible) this week than last week.  Felt a lot of muscle soreness last week, better this week.

Day 16 Wednesday - Vacation day - painters in for touch ups.  Still working on putting things away in the house.  Shopping at Trader Joe’s, J C Penny’s and Macy’s.  A lot of walking with a break for dinner at Fresh Choice.  My foot was tired by the end of the day and I was limping a bit.  I’m not wearing the boot anymore.

Day 17 Thursday - Planned noontime yoga.  Update later

Update 1:30 pm Yoga class went well without the boot.  Even did some Downward Dogs without any problem.  Feel good.  Now, back to my work.

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.
