Hello to all my fellow motivated movers!
I have been listening to Scott since this past summer.  At that time, I was living in San Antonio, taking care of three kids while my wife was doing her job in Korea for Uncle Sam.  I am retired from the Air Force, and I work as a Medical Lab Tech.  My family and I are currently living in Maryland (CULTURE SHOCK!).  I survived the kids for a year.  Still all my (own) hair present!!  I am settling in here and looking forward to the spring.  Kids want to visit all of the monuments/museums NOW!!  I have told them we are pacing ourselves.  A little every other week.
When I first wrote Scott last summer, I was 180 something.  I got down to 170, but due to the holidays, the move, the stress, LIFE HAPPENED.  So now I am back at it.  Picked up some running shoes, and hit the gym on base here.  I had forgotten what it feels like to run in the winter time.  It is a blast (without snow!).  Lungs feel great.  The gym, is as always, painful.  But hey, I’ve been out for a few months.  My goal is 160 lbs.  Something I haven’t seen since 1991.  So like everyone here, I’ll keep you posted.  I will stop being a “Lurker” and offer my two cents on occasion.
My fitness background is your basic gym rat.  Weights, treadmills, bikes, volleyball, racquetball.  But, I’ve been away a while.  Some people labeled me a martial arts person, but I wrestled and was a judo player for a number of years.  Kids have convinced me to take TKD classes with them.  That has been fun.
Well gotta go for now.  I have a lot to reading to do to catch up with you all.  Have a blessed night.  BTW, Scott, Thanks!!

Hi Rbwatson!

Welcome to MTM!  It sounds like you’re well on your way already.  Running in the winter is definintely an “experience,” congrats on going out there in the cold and burning through it.

Let us know how everything goes!
