Hi Everyone. I’m 32 and hail from NJ. I’ve been listening to Scott’s podcasts and upgraded to the Premium Membership in November. Now that the holidays are close to an end, I’m recommitting myself to a healthy lifestyle. I’ve previously lost 60 lbs four years ago by joining Weight Watchers but slowly gained back 25 lbs. I’ve rejoined WW but only lost 8 lbs in 3 months. So I’ve decided to get back to work and start seriously taking care of my health and weight. So starting today (I’m not waiting until January 2 like everyone else) to start weighing and measuring my meals, writing in my food journal, and committing to 4 - 5 days of exercise a week.

Wish Me Luck!!

Hi there!!!! Welcome to MTM land!!!! I just joined Weight Watchers the beginning of this month and it has worked for me thus far.  I think the key to that program is that you seriously need to WANT a lifestyle change, so your prior Weight Watchers knowledge combined with this MTM program should work wonders for you!!! Half of all weight loss is about attitude.  Good luck and way to go on commiting to your health.

Thanks for the responses and the encouragement. I really believe that this time around I’ll be serious but still have fun getting in shape and losing weight. Plus with the support of the MTM will really make a difference.

Happy New Year!

8 pounds in 3 months isn’t bad.  It’s better to lose slowly and keep it off this time.  You should enjoy the support from MTM.  It’s not only luck that helps you reach your goals, it’s also commitment and some work, but that work can be fun too.  I can’t wait to see what the new year brings.
