First day post “live-it” and I made it out of the bed to work out this morning. Yay!

Final stats:
Live it: 14 days
worked out: 11 days
lost: 5 lbs, 1.5% body fat, 0.9 on my BMI
gained: one pair of size 29 Lucky brand jeans. Yay!!

Ok, so while the jeans technically fit, they’re still not quite ready for public wearing. But seeing them hanging there this morning helped me get up and work out.

It is still bitter cold here - even a friend of mine who is a weather man was complaining. I thought they could fix the weather.

Scott - glad to hear you’re having fun with your new home gym.  Do you have a treadmill at home?

Wow… congrats, Laura!  I’ve definitely cheering for you here in Toronto, where it is also cold, but probably not as cold as Alaska. smile

Keep up the great work!

Good for you, Laura!  I thought I could hear someone else grunting along with me at 5:00 this morning wink I’m on a streak as well… doing multiple workouts a day.  I’ve been lifting every other day in the morning and going back for some cardio at night.  On the opposite day, I get in two cardio sessions.  I’ve also been heading out for a walk and some air during my free period at school…

I’ve got a wedding to attend in Ft. Lauderdale on April 8th and dang… the thought of wearing a warm weather dress scares me!  So, that’s been my carrot on these cold, dark mornings when I’m out the door before dawn.  I’m already feeling better both physically and mentally for doing it.  And of course, it’s the whole package deal for me so when I exercise, I WANT to eat right so it’s not even hard.  If I can drop 5 pounds by then, I’ll be thrilled and anything more would be even better!
