Day 28 of 100 - I feel AWESOME today!
--------------------------------
5 Sets - Bench Press
5 Sets - Dumbbell Curls
5 Sets - Dumbbell Fly
30 Minutes on the Treadmill

I have to say, the one thing I notice about running on the treadmill opposed to outside is that I get a LOT sweatier, due to I would imagine the lack of air around me unlike when I am outside.  I feel awesome today!  Hope everyone else has the same energy and enthusiasm I do!

Day 31 of 100
--------------------------------
Rest Day

I have to be honest, I am a little disappointed in myself as of late.  Although I have been exercising consistently, my diet and eating have been a little lax and as a result my weight has stayed the same, or maybe even increased a pound or two.  As I approach 1/3 of my way through my 100 days I am finding myself craving certain things that I have been missing, and unlike the previous 25 or so days I have been unable to fend off those cravings although I know very well I shouldn’t be eating those things.  Sabotage!  Why do we do that?  Today I am doing well in terms of diet, and I am making it a priority to keep it in check today and get started back on track.  I fear though that I will get to dinner time and fail myself again.  downer

Hey Kyle,

We all have tough times to get through!  Just remember that’s it’s all about moderation. If you are craving something, have a little bit, just don’t binge on it!  Just keep moving and things will work their way out!

Chin up!

Day 32 of 100 | Monday, November 20th 2007 - Forgot my gear
--------------------------------
Rest Day

Thanks everyone for the great words of encouragement!

Today is a complete 180 I am feeling up beat, energetic, and ready to get to the gym this afternoon.  Not only that but I feel that I ate well yesterday and I feel like I can get back on track without a problem… well… maybe Thanksgiving will be a problem.  But only if I let it be a problem.

I think having people around to help you get over these humps is what makes MTM land such a great place!

I’m so happy to hear you’re feeling good!  Don’t worry too much about Thanksgiving. You’ll do just fine!  Just keep thinking “how bad do I want it” when it comes to filling your plate or getting dessert.  That will help you keep things in check!!  You’re doing a great job!

5 - sets Curls
5 - sets LATS
5 - sets Flys

Tammy, I feel good about heading into Thanksgiving to be honest.  I have a workout planned for the morning, and am going to restrict myself to one helping, but not deny myself either.  Fact is, I earned some of it!  As Scott says… I enjoy it, so I am going to do it.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!  grin

Hey Kyle!

How’d your Thanksgiving go?! I bet everything went well, especially if you got your workout in that morning!

Happy Holidays!

Thanksgiving was great!  As a matter of fact just made it back home and am getting settled in.  The weekend was crazy, and i have to admit I got thrown off my excerise schedule I had planned, but I am back at it tomorrow after work.  I will see everyone then, hope everyone had a good one!

Days 34 - 39 - Holiday Vacation
--------------------------------
No exercise. red face

Day 40 of 100 - Back Out Swinging!
--------------------------------
5 Sets - Bench Press
5 Sets - Dumbbell Curls
5 Sets - Dumbbell Fly
5 Sets - LAT Pull Downs
40 Minutes on the Treadmill

I am officially off the Thanksgiving holiday and back to work!  I have to say I over the break I had a couple of things that although they might seem small they show me that perhaps maybe this is more of a life change then I thought.

While I was on holiday vacation, I have to admit my eating slid a bit, as tends to happen when you are out of your own environment.  I tried to keep it under control, and meant to exercise over the holiday break, but I didn’t do it and to be honest I was a bit leary of stepping on the scale when I got back home.  Well I got my first workout in last night, I eased right back into my routine.  Another thing I was proud of after such a long hiatus from the gym.  But I surprised myself and got in a great workout, and this morning I woke up and as I do most mornings jumped on the scale.  To my surprise the number stood right where I left it.  219 lbs.  I had one of those moments where I almost wanted to pick up the scale and shake it or beat on it to make sure it was working properly, but that’s when it hit me that maybe this in fact isn’t going to be one of those temporary things, a temporary loss.  This is a change.  A life change.  I didn’t gain a pound over the Thanksgiving break, and I came right back and jumped right back into my fitness and exercise which is something in the past I don’t think I would have done.

Cheers to everyone who has helped me on my way so far, and cheers to the rest of you who like me have changed their life for the better!

Woohoo!!! Go Kyle! I’m going to have to listen to that episode. I haven’t listened to the past couple.  I’m glad to hear your weight stayed the same!!  Isn’t that the best feeling!  You’ve done a great job and I have a very strong feeling that you’re going to be very successful in your fitness goals!! Congratulations! Outstanding job starting where you left off. Most people wouldn’t have gotten back to the routine!

Rest Day

Tammy I was really excited, although my legs cramped up, 5 miles in 50 minutes was extremely exciting for me!  5 consecutive 10 minute mile!  Woohoo!  I am finally beginning to bust this plateau I have been on for the better part of about 3 weeks, so I am excited about that!  I am back at it hard tonight!  200 lbs, here I come!

That’s FANTASTIC!!!  I’m soooo proud of you!  5 miles in 50 minutes!!  Outstanding!  You make me want to run harder.  But, even when I ran, I only ran a mile in 14 minutes!! (not that great, my husband said I shuffled, not ran!) So, that’s extremely exciting for me! You are fast approaching your goal!

Day 44 - 46 of 100

Rest Days

Day 47 of 100 | Tuesday, December 4th 2007
--------------------------------
Half routine in weights… I have been dealing with some odd headaches lately and lifting really set them off again.  Seems the more strenuous the routine the worse they get...right in the back of my head/neck.  I am planning to take a week or so off from weights in hopes this dissipates.

40 Minutes, and 4.2 Miles on the Treadmill.  I did get my cardio in.  wink

Great Job on your cardio.  Take it easy on the weights until you get the headache thing under control. You don’t want to burst any blood vessels!! Get better soon!
