Just thought I would drop in to say hello and introduce myself. My name is sascha I am a 32 yr old female. I am married and have 2 little boys ( 5 and 3 yrs old). I discovered MTM through itunes 3 months ago and became a premium listener 2 months ago. I love the shows and always feel motivated with the potential of what might be if/when I finally got myself to the gym! My sons went back to nursery and school 3 weeks ago and it is high time I started taking care of me. I have visited 2 gyms ( and quite liked one) and am toying with the idea of looking at one more before finally deciding which to join. ( this is entirely an act of procrastination i know).  Anyway, I am 1.70m tall (5ft6) and weigh 65kg ( 144 lb? ) and would like to weigh 122 lb.  After two pregnancies it is high time I tighten up, lose weight and give myself the oppurtunity to feel good about myself. I plan to join the 100 day challenge on the day I join the gym and I just wanted to come here to let someone know, hene make me more accountable.

many thanks and I look forward to getting to know you better

Sascha

Welcome, Sascha!! I understand the desire to find the best gym fit for you, and the procrastination part of it. Set a date to decide, and stick to it, no pressure, just a decision date.

It’s very important for us moms to take time to take care of ourselves. At first it seems so wrong, but you’ll find it will benefit not only you, but those precious boys of yours.

Have fun deciding on a gym!

Hi Sascha!

Welcome to MTMLand!

Good idea to make yourself accountable by posting here!  I know you’ll really feel the benefit of regular exercise, since you’ve got those two sons to keep up with!  grin

I look forward to seeing you around the forums!

Hey Sascha, welcome to MTM.  Getting yourself accountable I think is a real key thing and something I have struggled with for years.  The guys here are really supportive.  Look forward to reading about your 100 day challenge.

Sascha,

Hello, welcome, and congrats on being almost ready to take the leap- you know Scott’s saying, “the trick is the click.” It sounds like you’ve either reached it or are thisclose to having it happen, so congrats again!

Being in such an “exotic” location like Cyprus, you do know that you HAVE to post some pictures of your surroundings!!!!!  Welcome to MTM land, glad to have you here.
