What is more Canadian than a groundhog that can predict the ending date of winter?
Last weekend I was up in Wiarton a small town north of Toronto and found the tombstone of the beloved Wiarton Willie. Willie was a groundhog who packed a lot of purpose in his 7 years on this planet. He became an icon for a small town. There is even a hotel there in his namesake.
Willie lived only 7 years, but may we live our own lives with enthusiasm, zest, and purpose.
