G’Day Y’All!!

It’s been such a long time since I was here last, I thought I’d re-intorduce myself. LOL!

I’ve had a few health issues that have been in the process of getting sorted out. Chronic fatigue is one of the biggies here. Turns out I *DO* have Hashimoto’s hypothyriditis AND my adrenal glands were shot all to bits—near complete failure! I was motivated & WANTED to move, but due to the adrenal issue, I couldn’t.  sick

Adrenals are now on the mend, so I’m now able to gentle exercises, and the thyroid is being medicated.

So now, I’m back and able to do a bit more than just sit & play Super Granny 3.  rasberry

BTW—my name is Sally for those who don’t know me....

Welcome Back Sally

Glad to hear you are on the mend.  I agree with Shawn, be sure you discuss your exercise program with your doctor to make sure you aren’t over doing it.  By sharing the way you have been dealing with your medical issues you are going to be a great inspiration on this forum.

I agree with Paula ... dealing with health issues as you continue to move is very inspiring to a lot of people!

I’m glad you’re mending and are motivated to move!

Welcome back to MTM land, we are very happy to have you back.  We are here to support you along the way as you re-start your journey again. Take it nice and slow, like others have said above please consult with your doctor.  Check and see what is ok to do.  Then take it from there and see where it takes you.  We wish you the best along the way.

Thanks for the welcome back, guys. I have consulted with my dr, and he says to take it SLOW—mostly stretches, some chair exercises, slow walks, etc. Not going to be running a marathon any time soon. LOL!

And yes, it IS good to finally have some answers to what’s been going on health-wise. Most of my health probs are classed as auto-immune, but ... that doesn’t mean that I’m going to give into completely. Nope. I’ve learned to listen to my body & when it says rest, then I rest. Period!  cheese

And speaking of rest—it’s getting to be beddy-bye time here in Oz, so TTYL.
