Haha thanks muscles this is totally awesome!

Well, for dinner, let’s see........ I got really lazy and didn’t feel like cooking, so just had a bowl of oatmeal with almonds in it, 2 nectarines, a whole bowl of grape tomatoes, and a tinny bit of dark chocolate for good measure. I’m a pig when it come to dinner time!

For lunch I got lazy too. Had a whole wheat bagel with natural peanut butter on top, some baby carrots, a banana, and some other wacky stuff.

This is not a good day for me to have seen this thread!

Lunch: cheesesteak with the tortillas and rice, and beans at a local Mexican restaurant
going away luncheon for a friend who is moving

Supper: will be pizza
this is the planned supper at church, and as a table parent, I eat with the kids, lucky its thin crust, and there’s usually salad too

Yesterday was much better (lunch: fruit and almonds; supper: spaghetti)

Good thread, thanks, Muscles!

Great thread

Yesterday lunch was a tomato with some low fat shredded mozzarella cheese, some basil and balsamic vinegar.  Dinner was a small plate of take out sushi - Tuna, Salmon and a few pieces of smoked eel, and a little rice.

Take out sushi is a treat, usually it’s broiled chicken or salmon with steamed veggies.  That is my standard dinner at home.  Easy, tastes really good and very healthy.

My lunch plans for the rest of the week are to get a head of romaine lettuce, and use that to make a turkey wrap instead of using bread.  I may also make some chicken salad, chicken curry powder, a touch of reduced fat mayo, chopped celery, chopped onions, and for a treat some dried cranberries.  I like the crunch of the lettuce and I can still enjoy the sandwich without the bread.

I find most frozen dinners are pretty nasty.  I would recommend that next time you try the South Beach Santa Fe-style Chipotle Chicken Salad kit.  It’s the best thing they have out there.  It’s worth it just for the chipotle lime pita chips!

My lunch was a peanut butter and sugar-free strawberry jam sandwich and red apple slices.  I also brought along a small handful of mini shredded wheat cinnamon struesel squares as a snack.  Been seriously craving the crunchies lately!

Kim, that’s freaky. I also had a peanut butter and sugar free all fruit jelly sandwich. It really hit the spot.

Dinner last night was probably not as healthy as it should be, but looked better than what I normally choose.  I had a bead society meeting last night and opted for Chipotle for dinner.  Normally I would get a full out barbacoa burrito (spicy shredded beef, lime rice, black beans, mild salsa, cheese, and sour cream).  This time I opted for the barbacoa soft tacos (3 8” shells, spicy shredded beef {about an ounce a piece}, lettuce, mild salsa, cheese {a pinch a piece}, and sour cream {he was a little more heavy handed with this bit than I would have liked}).  Very tasty.  Not quite as filling as the burrito, but if you have ever seen the Chipotle burrito, it is seriously overkill.

Lunch this afternoon is a crunchy peanut butter and sugar-free jelly sandwich on light 7-grain bread and a glad snack back full of apple slices with some carmel dip (once of those little snack tubs).  I also brought a long a small cup worth of mini-wheats to beat the munchies, but haven’t eaten them yet.  Probably use them as a snack later.

Yum!

I have to eat with the kids at preschool, so my choices just went out the window. But portion control is still mine, and since you can’t sit long and keep eating, it’s almost forced control.

Today was bbq chicken, mixed fruit, buns, and cheesy potatoes. And milk.

Supper tonight is a beef roast with lots of veggies.
