Welcome to MTM land! I look forward to hearing all about your running experiences, and how you’re getting in the good books with the ladies! *grin* Who knows, maybe you’ll hit it off with a few hotties on the race-tracks?
Cheers,
Julie
You’ve painted such beautiful pictures that I’m already looking forward to seeing them come true. :D By the way, I visualize winning the Iron Man race nearly every single day. It even helps me stay on my healthy eating plan.
Welcome poeboy! I find it interesting that your screen name is a sandwich, but I love the name! You have great goals. I look forward to seeing you reach them.
Oh, I’m one of the women who like big guys, but I already married mine. Though he’s also working on becoming a bit smaller, and a lot healthier.
How far away from Blytheville, AR are you?
Bree
Actually the name has nothing to do with a sandwich. It is a combo of two things. First of all is Edgar Allan Poe’s name since he is one of my favorite authors. It is also a little twist of a great Queen song, Bohemian Rhapsody, namely the line “I’m just a poor boy, nobody loves me.”
I’m glad your husband is trying to improve his health. According to yahoo maps you’re 239 miles away from me since I’m in Hot Springs.
Ah, now I really like your screen name. Very cool. And sorry for the misunderstanding.
I actually live just across the river in Tennessee, but Blytheville was a good reference point. So far you’re one of the closest to me, that’s cool.
Bree
I’m glad you like the name. I’ve been to Tennessee three times. The first time I went to Liberty Land with a church group when I lived in Cabot back in the mid 80s. A couple of years later it was to visit the home of my (now ex) step mother’s parents. The last time was to change buses on my way home from Fort Benning, GA.

That’s the way to go, for sure! Now all you need to do is add some hot babes chilling with you at the post-Ironman hot-tub outing, and you’ll be set for sure!
Did you know they sold Liberty Land off piece by piece? So sad. Though even thinking about that old wooden roller coaster hurts my neck.
If you’re ever over this direction, send me a PM, and maybe we could meet up. Possibly work out together. Have a great week!
Bree
Yes, I did hear about Liberty Land closing. Elvis would have been heartbroken. Then again he probably would have just bought the park himself and kept it open.
I don’t have a vehicle, so I probably won’t be heading to TN any time soon. But you’re always welcome to head over to Hot Springs, AR. My running program is going to wrap up just in time for me to run a 5K I just found out about a few days ago. October 27, 2007 there will be one downtown, just blocks from my home. You can bet that I’m going to be in it!

I’ll probably be doing some media interviews while I’m in that hot-tub. My 15 minutes of fame will be sweet. I might even launch my own speaking tour when I get back home.
