You are doing fabulous! It really seems like time is flying, you not only finished your first 100, but are over a quarter way through your second round! Kicking butt!!!

Thanks, Bree!

My goal last year was to “get fit and strong” - having lost a lot of weight very quickly, I felt like it sapped my strength, and I needed to rebuild it.  I did that - joined a gym, got a trainer, learned how to use weights - but then I got sloppy with my eating and gained back a chunk of the weight too.

So my primary fitness goal for 2008 is to take off the weight I gained back, at a nice, slow, 1 lb a week rate, by eating more of the right foods.

My secondary fitness goal is to continue the weight training, aiming for 3 days out of 4, and getting everything to 4 reps (currently at 3).

I am more confident in my second goal than I am in my first!  I have a real challenge with over-eating, especially sweets and buttered popcorn!

Yes, wasn’t I smart!  Actually, we had our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve.  I remembered Scott saying that if he and Joi were planning to have a big food night, they made sure to sandwich it with workouts - so that’s what I did!  Gym on the 24th, and the treadmill at home on the 25th.  (Then you’ll notice I took Boxing Day off!)

I was wondering if you’d like your thread moved to 2008?

Bree

I was wondering about that - whether I should just start a new thread there, with a different name, or continue.  So yes, please, I sure would like it moved.

Thanks!

I must say, I have a lot more energy than I used to have before I started exercising!
