- Home - treadmill - LSB for 45 minutes (2.51 miles), listening to SM-SM Day 26 (oh dear, last day!) and the Daily Boost; stretching
Normally I do my exercise in the morning. Today I tried the afternoon - what a difference! Not nearly enough energy - couldn’t even do the full hour of LSB! A lesson learned.
On Day 26, Scott mentioned that us over 40’s should wait about 72 hours between exercising. I assume that is for weights, and doesn’t refer to the cardio???

Sadly, in the last week I have taken way more time away from exercising than I had planned. I let a long weekend here in Canada, with friends and family descending, get in the way of my plan.

When I was feeling ill, I reverted to inactivity (bundled up in front of the TV) and comfort food. Next day I felt worse. Hmm ... what is it that Scott says about using good food to fuel your body? Luckily for me, I remembered on Monday, and went back to an appropriate food plan. Maybe this has something to do with why I feel better??? Still fighting something, but at least I’m better equipped to fight it.
darn it, Scott is right again!!!!! LOL, I sometimes have to remind myself that the feeling of “post workout high” only comes after working out and doing something good for my body, I never feel that good after pigging out. Way to go on your LSB and workout. Bet you are feeling good

There is no fitness or exercise room where I am staying. I picked up some resistance bands, and an exercise ball. Both have DVD programs. Will give them a try today and report back. Have never worked with either before!

So, although I really enjoyed my vacation in the warmth and the sun, I’m really glad to be home and to get back to my routine!
