Hey Carlyn -

I don’t have adobe, but I’m editing in windows.  I’ve got the size of the photo down to 681 kb, but now it’s telling me I have a limitation of 800 x 600.  Is that to be expected?

I guess I need to sit down and figure some of this new fangled stuff out!

Beth helped Ada on her thread and I though it would be a good idea to post it here too.

Hi Ada!  I’m fairly computer illiterate, but I discovered a way to make pictures usable on the forum.  I edit my pictures using paint.  If you want to try it that way this is what I do.  (Please forgive me if you know more than I do about this stuff and I’m coming off as an idiot!!  tongue rolleye

1: open your picture in paint
2: click image at the top of the screen
3: then click Stretch and skew and a screen will pop up
4: Under the stretch section I enter in 20% vertical and 20% horizontal and leave the skew section alone.  But you can play with it to see what works best for you.
5: Then I click File at the top of the screen and then “save as” to save the picture.

Hope this helps.  I love gardening and really like it when people post pictures of their yards.  Have you seen Joan’s thread?  She has a green thumb!
