I was eating my cereal this morning (today was Honey Clusters from Fiber One) and was wondering what everyone else eats. Not just what you want to eat for breakfast, not what you think you should eat for breakfast, but what DID you eat? That’s what I really want to know.

This could be fun and funny.

Bree,
I had a banana and a bowl of Granola cereal.  Also a nice cold glass of orange juice to go with it.  Nothing too funny with that, just the usual.  Also I usually take my multivitiam and Fish Oil pill.  Ok having Fish Oil pill now that might be kind of funny, it certainly is kind of stinky pill that smells like fish.  YUUMMY!!!  Fish first thing in the morning.  Why is it that something that is supposed to be healthy and good for you like a fish oil pill is rather stinky??  And that is my fun breakfast

Here is to healthy living,

Scooby

This morning I had a double serving of instant oatmeal, a banana, a half-cup of coffee, and some water.

I had 1/2 of a banana before I went to the gym.

When I returned from the gym I made myself an egg sandwich (egg beaters with non fat cheese on weight watchers english muffin) and watermelon.

It was yummy!

So far today I’ve had a bowl of cottage cheese with strawberries, a stick of string cheese, and 3 cups of coffee, working on #4.

The breakfast I had today is one I have most days of the week.
I take a fat free/sugar free yogurt - like Yoplait Light or Bryers Light yogurt. (I had Yoplait today) I mixed into that a 1/4 cup of Fiber One cereal and also added 1/4 cup of diced fruit. (Today I used fresh blueberries.) For drink I had 2 mugs coffee with Splenda and powdered creamer at the office. There’s nothing funny about this breakfast. It’s pretty straight forward. For Scoobs sake, I also took my fish oil pill first thing this morning. Yummy fish oil pill...mmmmmm. smile

I ate my current default breakfast:

2 Frigo low-fat string cheeses wrapped in a flour tortilla and nuked until warm.
1 cup of skim milk
A small bunch of grapes (about a big handful)

Oh, and a mug of coffee with Splenda and just a smidgen of half-and-half! grin

(plus a Fish Oil capsule!)

Most days (today included!), I have two slices of toast, whole-wheat or multi-grain, with a thin spread of peanut butter.  I join that with a small glass of orange juice.  Today, unusually for me, I also had some caffein: a mug of green tea with two teaspoons of sugar.

Also, for the last week and a half, my breakfast is joined by the Pill.

Cheers,
Julie

My Breakfast? - A bowl of Total with a banana sliced up and skim milk on top, followed by a large mug of herbal tea.
Definitly not exciting - But fast - nutritious - and reliable!

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Wow, go Tom from Carlsbad!  I do the yogurt thing too!  Exact recipe, except I throw in some Splenda for flavor.  Also, the blueberries are frozen.  Or I might do a mixed berry thing.

That’s only half the time.  The other half of the time, I’ll do a pritein shake.  It’s about the same serving size, and has about 20g of protein.  Since the yogurt thing doesn’t have any protein, or too little to matter much, I try to move these two around a bit.

Sometimes I’ll have a couple of eggs and two slices of 9 grain toast.

Lately, because the yogurt thing is less than 200 calories, I’ve been adding an apple or peach or something with it.  I’m pretty full after that, and good to go until mid morning snack!  smile

I have about 2 week day breakfasts, just depends what I’m in the mood for in the morning

Fiber one cereal with some berries and skim milk
or
Low Fat toast with some peanut butter and some fruit

weekends I have a little more time so I tend to go for the poached egg on toast with some fruit.  Last week i tried some scrambled egg white (one whole egg mixed in) with about a teaspoon of bacon bits on it for flavor...pretty tasty.

Oh and there is of course ALWAYS the coffee!

I have a cup and a half (sometimes closer to 2 cups) of Kashi Autumn Wheat Cereal (shredded wheat) with 2 Tbsp raisins and 3/4 cup milk.  Plus 20 oz of Crystal light Lemonade and my fish oil.  Yum!!

Breakfast has been my biggest meal of the day lately.

Great breakfasts, everyone! I fully expected someone to say leftover pizza.

Today I had the same cereal—Fiber One Honey Clusters. And 2 cups of water, and a cup of water. Yum.

See ya in the morning!

It varies from day to day, but this morning I had a bowl of Malt-O-Meal puffed wheat, non-fat milk and a little Davinci SF Chocolate syrup, and a banana. It was a little carb heavy today, but I made up for it later in the morning at snack time.
