I have proof.

Friday night I went out to dinner with a friend.  We sat at the bar.  The barstool didn’t have any back to it, so there was nowhere to hang my purse.  So I sat the purse on top of my feet and put the shoulder strap between my knees.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was kind of clenching my thighs and knees together to hold the purse strap there.

Yesterday morning my inner thighs ached like you wouldn’t believe.  They’re still sore this morning.  It feels as though I did multiple sets of inner thigh exercises.

And all I did was sit on a barstool and drink an adult beverage!  LOL

Hi Judy,

Absolutely.  I’m with you.  I did some inter-city driving yesterday, and for a while was focusing on keeping my abs and butt held tightly in.  While I didn’t do it as long as you did, I could definitely feel the burn after a while!

Cheers,
Julie

Oh that pulling in your abs and tightening your booty works wonders!!! And you can do it anywhere!!!!  I have felt the burn from doing those, I found too, that it makes me focus more on my muscle groups doing a better “quality” of an exercise.

And that’s what I call civilized exercise!
